Cozy Cottage Cabin with Wood Burning Fireplace - Pet Friendly! Charming Updates!

Welcome to our charming cottage cabin nestled in the Village of Cloudcroft, NM! This newly spruced up cabin is located at the top of the mountain and is walking distance to the golf course, The Lodge, and downtown. Spend your time relaxing inside or enjoy some fresh air on the porch overlooking the pine trees on the property - you’ll usually even see some deer and elk! The cabin has WiFi, two smart TVs, a wood burning fireplace, washer and dryer, and a cozy modern decor! NO HEAT or central AC, but the cabin warms up nicely with with fireplace and blower, as well as provided space heaters.

The kitchen is equipped with plenty of cooking supplies and dishes, a gas stove and oven, a full size fridge and freezer, and a large table to enjoy your meals.

Each bedroom has new Queen mattresses and a dresser to put your clothes away. The master bedroom has a large closet and a full size washer and dryer for laundry and the second bedroom has a Roku Smart TV.

After a long day of hiking/golf/exploring downtown you can come back to the cabin and relax on the couch in front of a fire with a movie (Ruke Smart TV), play a game, start a puzzle, or relax outside!

Cloudcroft is a beautiful small town in the mountains of New Mexico - summer temperatures are usually in the 70s during the day. Come see why Cloudcroft was voted one of the top 10 small Southwest cities by USA Today!

*Due to insurance reasons we can not provide firewood for our guests. Please be sure to bring your own or you can purchase it in town*

The cabin was all it was billed to be. It was pet friendly, comfortable, good supply of items to use for cooking. The only negative was the coffee maker craft was missing so I bought a new coffee machine and left it in the cabin.

The cabin was cozy and had neat characteristics. The floors weren’t very clean, ashes and wooden pieces were in front of the fire place. If we wanted to build a fire the can where you’re supposed to put your ashes when you leave was overflowing.

Cool get away

Cabin seems more spacious than listed- nice layout and lovely porch for coffee. Very nice attention to details- bedding, pillows, and comfortable furniture. Nice to return to a cool and shady cabin after exploring trails.

Sweet Cozy Cabin

Such a Sweet Cozy Cabin in the heart of Cloud Croft. Fresh and Clean - I would highly recommend it! Signs to the cabin are easy to follow - but it is a little tricky to find the first time. It was the perfect place for my family member with a disability - pretty easy access, stairs were wide and well maintained. So thankful to find a place that welcomed her service dog.

Cute place but Hairy.

The place was cute and pretty much matched the listing. While the place was relatively clean, we kept finding long black hairs all over the place. Neither my spouse nor I have long black hair. The host also tried to charge us $150 to replace a Target brand duvet cover after we left. When we left the place, there was absolutely no damage to the property. We were completely caught off guard to receice the claim that had no other details in it.

Cute n cozy!!

Location was great! Kinda scary driving in snow but big 4 wheel drive truck handled it well! Very clean, supplies were appreciated, fireplace was nice, thankful we got to take our yorkie! Would definitely recommend!

The perfect little red mountain cabin of my dreams!

Location location location! The little red cabin was perfect for me and my son. It was cozy, perfectly updated and decorated and located in the cutest little mountain neighborhood. I have an AWD vehicle and was just fine even after a little snow storm. We were a short drive to everything in town. The owner is very responsive and I just can’t express enough how adorable this cabin was and exactly what I wanted for our trip to Cloudcroft! We will definitely be back to the little red mountain cabin.

Cozy and comfortable for my family. It was quiet and thoughtfully staged/equipped. Deer greeted us as we arrived. The neighbors were quiet. Everyone there was just enjoying the mountains. The host was incredibly responsive to questions.

Texas Heat Reprieve!

The South Texas Heat can be brutal this time of year, so we decided to try a cabin in the woods of Cloudcroft to get out of the heat. We could not have been happier with this little cabin in the woods. It was clean, cozy, and had everything you could need. The beds were comfortable and the woods were awesome. We saw elk and deer daily. The owner is very quick to respond to any email. The check in and access was super easy. The mornings were cool, the days warm, and the afternoon thunderstorms were awesome! We really enjoyed our time in Cloudcroft and having this little cabin to come home to every night made the stay even better.
