“We had 3 16 year olds, 12 and 19 year old plus my boyfriend and myself stayed here for 5 days. The train through the back yard was awesome, the beautiful river, private dock and fire pit across the street was perfect. Having the kids crossing the road was really a non issue for us since they are older. I was worried about sharing one bathroom but we made out just fine also not having a TV worried me but turned out to be great. Got us to spend time together and looking for the next thing to do.……

“They cabin was beautiful and more than met my expectations! The front porch was so nice with the hummingbirds coming to visit! It was so hot out but the cabin was cool and comfortable. Saw so many deer, dogs and horses! It was a great little trip! Would lo e to come down in the fall, it would be gorgeous!”

“This house is wonderful and is even bigger and prettier than it looks in the photos. The neighborhood is so nice with pretty homes tucked into the wilderness. I loved having my coffee in the back room and saw deer every morning. I can’t even imagine how stunning it would be in the winter if there was snow. I would rent this home again.”

“Wonderful location within the Massanutten resort community. Easy check in. Prompt/easy communication with host. Interior is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The yoga/meditation loft and kids' reading room are both creative, unexpected use of space. Great ideas! Easy wifi connection, well stocked kitchen, relaxing study area, 2 huge bathrooms with high end finishes, relaxing wrap around deck with gas grill and gas firepit, overlooking dense trees. (We loved the three bucks that joined us……

“Very comfortable, well appointed house, with a spacious kitchen/dining room, detached playroom, plenty of room for kids to roam outside, and ample parking. Although the house is directly off Massanutten Drive, it was quiet and we had no adjacent neighbors so it felt like we had plenty of privacy for our group of nine people.”

“Simply magical! Cabin life with all the amenities. There is nothing the the owner did not think about. Love the hot tub after a day of hiking. Very comfortable beds, everything is impeccably clean, washer and dryer were a very nice bonus, they even had robes for us which was nice after the hot tub. We will be coming back again. Just make sure that you come with a truck or an SUV, you will need it to get up the rocky hill.”

I’m an over-planner and an over-packer. Anything I needed was there (and conveniently labeled). Grateful for Bethany’s help making this such an easy trip (and I was a big fan of the master bath!).”
