The location of this home is great, lovely neighborhood, close to groceries (Smiths, Trader Joe’s, Target and Albertsons). We saw distant hot air balloons in the sky most mornings between 7 and 8:30 am - you could even see them from the master bath jacuzzi!). There’s a park a short drive away, Elena Gallagos, that was spectacular! Tin Can Alley is nearby and a fun place to get food. The sopapillas at Sadie’s were amazing. The kitchen was large with good appliances (lacking only a mixer or blender). The kitchen lighting could stand to be improved and there weren’t lots of serving dishes but it worked for my family of five to have a small Thanksgiving dinner. You are in a neighborhood with houses very close by if that’s thing that bothers you. Some small things didn’t work - the ice dispenser on the fridge, the jacuzzi tub jets, the downstairs shower didn’t have amazing water pressure, the master bath rain shower head was mostly clogged (there were plenty of other shower heads) and one of the recliners was discolored. All minor things that didn’t impact our enjoyment or the home and the area.

The property was very good for our Balloon Festa stay. The beds and bathrooms were top notch. The price to value was excellent.The kitchen is equipped with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. The outdoor grill was also in excellent condition and was perfect for grilling out. The sitting area with TV was also great for watching the baseball playoffs and college football games.

Just what we needed

We were in town for a funeral and were thrilled to find this lovely home close to family and all the places we had to be. Views were beautiful. Beds comfortable. Number of bathrooms ideal. We’d love to come again

A home truly representative of the New Mexican culture and natural beauty

We went to NM for a wedding. I wanted a truly New Mexican experience for my family who are not familiar with NM. I’ll never forget their faces when they saw this home. They fell in love with the home and with NM. We’ll go back and hopefully we can rent it again

Beautiful home for a ABQ get-away!

This home was perfect for our friends to gather for the Balloon Fiesta. It is in a good location, with easy access to the balloon park. It is also ideal for viewing the massive number of balloons as they flood the skies every morning of the festival. The house is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with easy check-in instructions. However, the kitchen was not well stocked, so I would contact the host to discuss needed items if one planned to do much cooking. One major complaint that kept me from rating this house a 5-star is that the bathrooms needed more toilet paper. Four bathrooms, with 1 or 2 rolls each, are insufficient. This is a small item, but a necessary amenity that should not have to be purchased by your guests.

Great Property

House was great! It had a shared driveway that wasn't mentioned.We were there for work with truck and trailer. Shared driveway users may have been bothered by this. Overall super great property!

Beautiful home

The property was exactly as represented. It was perfect for our 6 adults since it had 4 BRs and 4 BA, plus a large kitchen/DR/family room to gather in. It was sunnier than expected and really cool architecture which gave the Albuquerque vibe. The neighborhood was well kept and quiet (I don't think we ever saw any neighbors). We had heard that Albuquerque has a lot of thefts, especially vehicles, so we were glad to be able to easily park the rental car in the garage. The only things that were kind of odd or disappointing is there were a couple of maintenance issues (a sink that didn't drain, the master closet hadn't been dusted and our clothes got dirty from the shelves). Neither which was a deal braker but the host didn't respond to our communications until after the trip. On the balance though, we were very pleased with the property and it met our needs very well. I had forgotten that there is a laundry room and it was convenient that the host provided detergent as we had something we had to wash. And a very nice surprise that each bathroom had a fresh bar of soap, shampoo, and conditioner as I thought I'd have to buy those. Also convenient to all we needed (Trader Joes was super close) and only 15 minutes or so from Old Town. Easy to recommend!

Great location

Beautiful home, located close to shops, grocery store, & highway access. Jacuzzi was fun for the kids. Most homes with pools not open for another week, still a little cool. Large home that gave everyone their own space.

Nice Property but lacks care and supplies

Overall the property was enjoyable. It was located in a nice neighborhood and was uniquely decorated and designed. My only complaint about our stay is that I wish there would have been more supplies in the home to make our stay more comfortable. Things like spices and cookware. The master bath shower was beautiful and huge but had extensive hard water built up which made the shower less enjoyable than it could have been. My husband and I stayed in a smaller room on the main floor it felt like we were sleeping on the cheapest mattress available on the market and sounded like we were on a balloon when moving around. We had a total of 8 people and it would have been nice to have extra towels and blankets as well to make our stay more comfortable. The checkout process was very easy however, the instructions were very rude and inappropriate. 'ABSOLUTELY NO Early Check-ins or Late checkouts:(Pro Traveler tip if you need early check-in book the day prior)' Completely unnecessary nor does it leave you with a welcomed feeling at all, but based on the attention to details on supplies within I don't think they really care about offending anyone or making stays comfortable.

Perfect for our holiday

We had a great stay over Christmas! Our group was 7 adults and our dog. The neighborhood was nice, quiet, and conveniently located to everything. The house had plenty of space for all with 4 bedrooms (2 up stairs and 2 downstairs). It was really nice that each bedroom also had outdoor access to either the backyard or a deck. The house was very clean and the kitchen had all the items we needed. The yard was fully fenced, which made having our dog with us very easy. There are also nice sidewalks to walk in the neighborhood. The hot tub was wonderful! The owner was responsive, helpful, and accommodating at an impressive level. This home worked great for our needs and we would definitely stay here again.

We spent a great week touring New Mexico

Three couples used this house as our base for spending 7 days touring New Mexico. We went to Santa Fe (easy 1 hour drive) and all the way to White Sands (a 3 hour plus drive). Good set up for 3 couples with multiple bedrooms and adjoining baths. More than enough room for the 6 of us. Use of the garage was also a plus. House needs some TLC. But overall we loved the location very much which was relatively close to the Sandia Mountains.

Minor maintenance items

Great property. The some lights around the mirrors in downstairs bathroom need to be checked. The towel rack in the downstairs full bath need the set screws replaced. Directions for the overhead fan light would be helpful.
