Hello! We are CUBO'S HOLIDAY HOMES, specialised in holiday accommodations since 2005.



This charming villa located at the foot of the Sierra de Mijas offers a quiet and comfortable environment for up to 6 people, with an option for 7 with a supplement. It has 3 bedrooms, a spacious living-dining room with a fireplace that invites relaxation, a bathroom with a shower and an external toilet for greater convenience. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything necessary: fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, juicer, kettle and kitchen utensils.



Enjoy a spacious private garden with a beautiful illuminated swimming pool, sun loungers, umbrellas, outdoor gazebo and barbecue area, perfect for leisure moments and outdoor gastronomy. In addition, it has parking for several vehicles and mosquito nets throughout the house for your comfort.

As a family of 4 with 2 young children we stayed here for 9nights. Everything was perfect, the villa was extremely well equipped, and you are spoiled for choice with the different outside seating arrangements. The pool was a great size and my 4 year old loved the shallow section with raised seating to play in. We heavily used the outside bbq/kitchen, which was perfect for keeping unwanted flies/ants outside. We experienced a power cut on our 2nd evening and messaged the host to clarify details, and within 15mins Juanh arrived at the villa and the issue was resolved. You are 6mins drive from nearest supermarket, bakers, bar, and a great choice of different restaurants. Extremely clean and gardens were immaculate. The photos listed do no give the scenery & gardens the true justice they deserve. Would definitely return.

Ideal villa to relax and chill out

Excellent property, with fantastic outside space including lovely pool and plenty of seating and sun lounging areas. The views from this property and sun sets were amazing. The owner Juan was extremely helpful and we communicated via Google WhatsApp. It's about a 30 minute walk into a picturesque town with shops and bars. A car is necessary for travelling further afoot with some really lovely places to visit (Mihas, Coin, Marbella etc). Only 30 minute drive from the airport. We would highly recommend this villa.

Lovely villa, amazing view.

Very enjoyable and relaxing 2 weeks in a lovely setting with beautiful views, especially at sunset. Lovely pool and outside space. Juan looked after us very well, making sure we had everything we needed at the property. Great restaurants nearby in the town. Very friendly locals speaking good English. 30 minutes to the nearest beaches. Playa Carvajal is one of nicest local beaches. We look forward to returning one day.

Great Villa

Really nice villa. The house is really cool as there are AC units in every room. It is much better in real life than in the photos. The outside dining area is perfect and the pool and surroundings are first rate. Sunsets here are truly amazing. I would highly recommend this villa to others.

Excellent !

A big villa, with a beautiful garden, overlooking the mountains. A stunning view from the good sized pool, which is right of the overroofed terrace of the house. Good privacy and security, the whole of the terrain is fenced in. Very nice owner, who came almost immeadatly, when there was a very slight problem with the airconditioning. Nice TV and good WIFI, although the range of the WIFE might be a bit better. (good on the terrace, further down in the garden at the end of the pool sometimes disconnecting). The owner doesn't speak English, but with all the translating apps nowadays, and a son who does speak it, this should not be a problem, it wasn't for us. Everything is provided for, towels, sheets, good kitchen aquipment. When driving the road to the villa is small, but no problem, we managed with a big stationcar. Definetly a place to come back to, I would certainly recommand. Also the personal of Cubo's, the rental office in Alhaurin, was very friendly, helpfull and they spoke several languages.

Spanish perfection!

This is a lovely villa with a great pool and garden - one of the best we have stayed in. There are lots of places to sit in sun or shade. It was very clean and well equipped - everything you could possibly want in the kitchen. Cubos were a pleasure to deal with, we went to the office in Alhaurin and followed them to the villa, electric gates and not overlooked at all, great views of the mountains from the terrace. Juan was very helpful and we were impressed with his phone app which made communication with him very easy!

Perfect Idyll

Where to begin? The photos on home away gave the impression of a secluded villa on an urbanisation. On driving through the gates the photos didn’t do Ruiz justice at all, we’ll get back to the outside. With it previously being a finca it’s quite dark inside and you have everything you need for your vacation . There’s loads of storage in the bedrooms. The bathroom is large and has a fantastic rain shower but you don’t go on holiday to sit inside. Back to outside, when you stand on the terrace the views are absolutely stunning, the vista of the mountains anytime of day is eye catching and the sunsets are every bit as good as anywhere. The gardens have been landscaped in a way that you have the impression that the garden and mountains are all yours . The gardens are beautifully tended, there are lemon and orange trees to pick from. There are 4 separate dining areas depending on the views you want. The pool is one of the biggest we’ve used , with it’s built in jacuzzi and is spotlessly clean. You can sunbathe all day, in fact until the sun sets. There was nothing better for us than sitting on the terrace with a drink just watching the sunset and watching the parrots and eagles flying. Juan the owner is a really nice guy, we met at a nearby hotel and accompanied us the villa, we were only there for a week but he came every 3rd day to clean the pool and water and tend the gardens so it’s kept immaculate. If you’re experienced in renting villas or inexperienced then look no further villa Ruiz. You’ll have total seclusion then you’re only 5 minutes drive from Alhaurin for supermarkets and lovely eateries. In conclusion this is the best villa we’ve stayed in for almost the total package. It’s certainly hard to beat Maureen and Richie.

Fabulous Villa set in superb grounds

What a lovely Villa. The extensive garden area,with several choices of sitting/dining and the pool, were stunning. The view too was superb as was the location. Very secure and peaceful and not overlooked. We were met by the owner and his son and they were very friendly and helpful.There are plenty of places to eat and drink in Alhaurín el Grande which is a few minutes drive away. Also suggest a visit to beautiful Ronda which is about an hours scenic drive away. All in all, highly recommend. We loved it!!
