Superb, quiet property with private swimming pool (no neighbors) + various games

The Bastide. This beautiful property, with no immediate neighbors, is ideally located in Alhaurin el Grande, 20 minutes from Malaga airport. You will find shops and restaurants within a 10 minute drive; as for the beaches, allow 20 minutes to reach them. Golfers with the 3 courses within a 20-minute radius (including one within 5 minutes) can alternate their pleasure during their stay. It is a perfect villa for a great vacation with family or friends.
The house has 280 m2 of living space, numerous shaded terraces and a sleeping capacity of 10 people. It consists of 2 levels. On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a living room with open fire, 1 bedroom (180cm x 200cm bed), 1 bedroom (2 90cm x 200cm beds) and 2 shower rooms, 2 sinks and 2 WC. Upstairs, there is the master suite with a bed (180cm by 200 cm), followed by a jetted tub, 1 shower, 1 sink and 1 WC with access to a private terrace; 1 bedroom (1 140cm x 200cm bed + 1 90cm x 200cm bed) and 1 bedroom (2 90cm x 200cm beds) + 1 shower room, 1 washbasin and 1 WC.
The villa has an electric gate and is surrounded by a garden of 72 ares fully fenced with breathtaking and unobstructed views of the Guadalhorce valley and the surrounding countryside.
Depending on the season, you will find in the garden: orange, lemon, mango, almond, ...
It benefits from an 8 x 4 m swimming pool (the swimming pool can be heated during the months of October, November and April), a spa (off-season or on request), a pétanque court compliant, table tennis, table football and an orchard. There are also plenty of loungers, a gas barbecue, a shelter for the equivalent of 2 cars, and an outdoor laundry room with a washing machine.
The house is equipped with air conditioning, heating and mosquito nets on the windows. You will also find two hairdryers, an electric oven, a microwave, gas hobs, a dishwasher, 2 American fridges, kettle, percolator, nespresso coffee machine, juice press, mixer, mixer and sways in the kitchen. On the living room side, you have 2 televisions with French satellite and Spanish channel, a DVD player, an enclosure for Mp3 and Ipod, numerous books, DVDs and board games in our library, Wiffi.
Household linen (sheets and towels) is provided. On site, a gardener maintains the exteriors.
Finally the house has an alarm system.

What a fabulous Villa!

La Bastide has to be one of the best Villas we have ever hired! Beautiful setting, the views are amazing, the pool and outdoor areas are superb, lots of shade cover for those who want it. The kitchen is extremely well equipped which was great because none of us wanted to eat out in the evenings, best place to be was La Bastide !

Gisteren thuis gekomen na een verblijf van 13 dagen met 5 volwassenen en 3 tieners Wat een heerlijke villa is dit. Echt niks op aan te merken. Alles was er ook aanwezigHeerlijk zwembad en heel veel leuke zitjes rondom het huis. Communicatie ging ook perfect en als er iets was werd daar ook snel op gereageerd. Top locatie en gemiddeld 30 a 40 minuutjes vanaf de leuke plaatsjes. Ik zou deze villa ook zeker aanraden.

2 families, 4 adults, 1 teen & 2 children. What a villa, the pictures do not do this property its true justice. Stunning! Well equipped with everything listed +much more, absolutely a home away from home. The town is a short drive away, again well equipped with the usual shops/bars & restaurants. Simply the best

This home is a gorgeous property. It has everything. So much thought has gone into it by the owners. The pictures do not do it justice. It is just simply beautiful. We loved the outdoor terrace - Actually there were at least three but we love the one that had the view of the mountains. We sat there late into the evenings. Communications with the host were always quick and accurate. Margarita who met us to check in and to check out is a delight. The pool is much larger than it looks in the picture and quite deep. The children loved it. The owners must be real food people. There is every gadget and many many good plates and glasses. It was wonderful to make our dinner there. There are two towns nearby with good markets. We highly recommend La Bastide

Villa toujours au top!

C'était la deuxième fois que nous louions cette villa. Elle est toujours aussi fonctionnelle et agréable. Depuis l'année dernière, nous avons vu quelques améliorations, ce qui démontre que les propriétaires en prennent soin et continuent à l'améliorer. Nous avons passé de super vacances car la villa est au calme et dispose de nombreux moyens pour divertir tout le monde (belle piscine, baby-foot, terrain de pétanque, table de ping-pong ...). La villa est à 25mn du cœur de Malaga et le centre du village d'Alhurin El Grande à 5mn dispose de tout ce qu'il faut (petit supermarché, pharmacie, restaurants...). Et en cas de besoin, Margarita répond immédiatement à toutes vos questions et trouve toujours une solution! Des vacances de rêve pour une magnifique région!

Magnifique villa très joliment décorée & agencée avec goût pour le bien-être de tous ! Superbe piscine entourée de fauteuils modernes, confortables à souhait pour de petites siestes au soleil bien agréables. Cuisine ultra équipée & grand barbecue qui permettent de préparer facilement des repas conviviaux. Cadre magnifique

Nous revenons de 15 jours passés en famille dans ce magnifique endroit. La maison est parfaite, très bien équipée, tout y pensé pour que rien ne manque. Chaque chambre a sa salle de bain, la grande cuisine est dotée de tous les équipements nécessaires sans oublier le barbecue "haut de gamme" pour cuisiner à l'extérieur. Le "must" de cette maison est son environnement. Nous avons passé 2 semaines seuls au monde, dans un cadre qui nous manque déjà, vue sur les montagnes, entourée de pins, avec pour seul bruit le chant des cigales. Pas une maison à l'horizon, le rêve !!! Le soir, quel bonheur de prendre l'apéro face au coucher du soleil ! C'est un lieu idéal pour se ressourcer et se retrouver en famille. La maison est très bien située pour visiter les villes alentours : Malaga, Marbella, Torremolinos et proche des magnifiques villages blancs à ne pas rater : Mijas, Ojen, Nerjas... Maison un peu loin de la mer mais son cadre en vaut la peine. N'oublions pas la gentillesse et la réactivité de Margarita qui en plus parle très bien français ! Merci également au propriétaire qui prend soin de ses locataires. Je recommande et conseille cette magnifique adresse pour passer des vacances ressourçantes, c'est un petit coin de paradis.

Great property, but a few problems

The villa is great. It is very secluded, but that is exactly what we were looking for. Both the inside and outside space is excellent and it is very well equipped. The villa manager, Margarita, lives close by and was lovely and easy to deal with. There was a minor issue on our first day, where there were no duvets or blankets put out for the beds. No problem in July or August, but needed in late October. This was rectified on our second day, so all was then well. The major problem was the pool heating. We discussed this with the villa owner when booking, because this was our number one priority when looking for a villa for late October, as we have a disabled son who needs warmer water. We agreed the heating cost and the owner confirmed that the pool would be heated prior to our arrival. He said as long as we kept the cover on at night, it should maintain heat for our stay. When we arrived the pool was cool and there was no cover on it. I had to go and find the cover, which was being stored in the parking area, pull it around to the pool, clean it (as it was covered in mud) and then put it over the pool, to try and get the pool temperature up. When I went to check the temperature the next day, I found that the electrics had tripped and it was not being heated, nor filtered. I reset the breaker, but this happened over and over again. After three days we gave up trying and accepted that we would not be able to use the pool. The pool man did attend on our 4th day, but didn't seem to be able to fix the problem, albeit it would have been too late to get the pool up to the desired temperature in time anyway. We weren't charged for the pool heating in the end, but we paid a significant amount more for this villa than we would have done for something similar with an unheated pool, so it was very disappointing. Hence the 3* rating. Had the pool heating worked, it would have been 5*.

Superbe propriété au calme

Une maison superbe, une piscine et des terrasses très agréables, un environnement calme et isolé : un endroit génial pour se reposer. La bastide est meublée et décorée avec goût : rien de manque et la cuisine est vraiment très bien équipée. Un propriétaire à l'écoute et un accueil chaleureux et aux petits soins de Margarita et Peter, toujours prêts à rendre service. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et reviendrons avec plaisir. Perfect vacation

I just had a wonderfull time at this villa. Travelled with 3 generations which this house was perfect for. Lost of space. The Best is the outdoor space with a lovely pool area with lots of seatingarea in the shade. Perfect for watching the Kids swim :) I would definetly recommend this place and love to go myself again. We stayed for 12 days, total of 9 People, age 2-66years. Also lots to do in the area. Car recommended

Outre sa localisation particulièrement appréciable pour être isolée tout en étant à à peine 5 km des commerces, nous avons réellement apprécié la qualité des installations qu’il s’agisse des chambres (literie, couettes, salles de bain, etc...) , du mobilier de jardin qui laisse parfois à désirer dans les locations de belles propriétés, ou encore d’une cuisine équipée comme jamais qu’il s’agisse des équipements ménagés ou de la vaisselle extrêmement complète et parfaite pr dresser une très belle table. Rien à redire non plus sur la piscine et les espaces extérieurs tels que la piste de pétanque, les parterres ou encore la terrasse orientée soleil en fin de journée. Bref, à refaire, ça vaut vraiment le coup !!!!

Great Villa for large groups

Family holiday with 5 children ranging between 1-13years old who all loved it there. Villa was spacious, clean and had great outdoor areas. Pool was great size which the children loved playing in all day and right next to the pool there was a shaded area which was great for the baby whilst being able to keep an eye on the other children in the pool. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and also had a good size double fridge freezer. The villa also had a high chair and cot for the baby. And plastic plates, bowls and cup for the younger children. Apart from the air conditioning units not working in 3 of the bedrooms and being told the technician was coming to fix them but never turned up, we had a great family holiday thank you.

Semaine extraordinaire entre amis

Nous avons passé une semaine à la bastide en plein mois d'août. Nous appréhendions la chaleur, et en finalement nous n'avons même pas utilisé la climatisation tant la maison est agréable et plutôt fraîche. Les extérieurs sont superbes ! On se sent seuls au monde au milieu des montagnes. La vue est splendide, notamment au lever et au coucher du soleil. Nous étions un groupe d'amis entre 22 et 24 ans, et nous ne nous sommes pas ennuyés une seule seconde. Entre la table de ping-pong, le terrain de pétanque, les fléchettes, les jeux de société, le baby foot etc; impossible d'être désœuvrés! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les terrasses pour l'apéro, ainsi que l'enceinte bose. Le barbecue et la cuisine d'extérieur nous ont aussi bien servis. Nous craignions un peu que la maison soit éloignée de tout mais en fin de compte nous étions à 15 minutes de l'aéroport, et à moins de 30 minutes du centre de Malaga. Le centre d'Alhaurin est à 5minutes en voiture et est bien plus grand que ce qu'on imaginait. La maison est à 1h20 de Ronda, 2h15 de Séville, 1h50 de Cordoue ; et les routes sont agréables. C'était vraiment parfait !!! Mention spéciale au propriétaire, et bien sûr à Fini et José qui ont été très agréables et réactifs. Merci pour tout, merci de nous avoir permis de passer des vacances aussi belles et bonne continuation !

Wonderful home in excellent condition and more than well equipped!

We stayed two wonderful weeks at "La Bastide" in July 2018 with two families (five kids age 4 - 16). The finca was exactly as described and as you could see in the pictures. It was in an outstanding condition, clean and perfectly equipped. The lovely pool has a small area with steps for our smallest one and deeper parts (up to 170cm) for adults. There are more than sufficient deckchairs, an outdoor showering and even water polo goals! We loved the night-time illumination and the clean and comfy pool area. As described, there are a lot of entertainment gadgets, like darts, table-tennis, boules, table soccer, games, and more. The lounge area is perfect for a morning coffee with a nice mountain view, as well as the hammock. Living room is spacious and nicely decorated, although we really didn't use it (just for the World Cup final ;-) The kitchen was awesome, not only due to it's size but also the equipment. A large gas stove, American Fridge, oven, dishwasher, coffee and nespresso machine, juice extractor, just more than you really need. Additionally, there is an outside kitchen area with the huge grill, working space to prepare meals and even a sink and a second fridge. It was amazing to take fresh fish out of the fridge, prepare and put it under the grill without any need to go inside. Outside eating area and another bar-like table on the deck with lots of chairs were also perfect for enjoying ourselves. Beds are comfy, ac is working well - in addition to ceiling fans in nearly every room (and on the deck!). Bath rooms are clean and functional with two larger and one smaller one. Although the finca is situated in a quiet and hilly area, shopping options are close by (10 min to Alhaurin, 20-25 min to Malaga). The premises are fenced in with an automatic gateway and huge space . The owner is very friendly and extremely responsive. His supporting personnel on-site is attentive and takes a look once a week (mainly to take care of the pool, but also anything else). This has been a superb experience and we all would love to come back to this quiet, clean and well maintained home.

Incroyable.

Tous ce que vous croyez avoir besoin ,les propriétaires y ont pensés pour nous. Tout est prêt à votre arrivée. Espace détente intérieur extérieur. Cuisine plus que super équipée Facilité de déplacement vers les commerces,la plage et les petits villages à visiter Contact facil et agréable avec les propriétaires. Je recommande vivement.
