住宿简介

Excellent Location, Family & Pet Friendly, Walk to Main St, Close to everything

  • This charming single-family, 4-bedroom, 1.5-bath Downtown Bethlehem home—located within the Avenues and just a short walk to Main Street—offers classic character, spacious interiors, and inviting outdoor living. The first floor features a formal living room, formal dining room, half bath, dedicated study, laundry room, and a large kitchen with generous prep space that is fully stocked with cooking tools and essentials. All four bedrooms and a full bathroom are located on the second floor, providing privacy and a comfortable sleeping layout. Outside, guests can enjoy a landscaped, fully fenced yard with multi-level paver patios and conversation seating beneath a pergola canopied in wisteria, along with a separate smaller fenced section that can be used to safely separate a small dog if needed. This walkable, standalone home is ideal for guests looking to enjoy Bethlehem’s downtown while still having private indoor and outdoor space to relax. The house is located across from a wooded tree section of town, if seeing an occasional spider or bug indoors upsets you, this would not be the home to book. Free on-street parking is available in front of the home. If you have more than two cars, parking across the street in a parking zone is recommended. Please note: the garage is not included in the rental. It is tenant-occupied for storage year-round.

Great Stay

We rented this location for our crew who was working on a local project. This was a perfect spot for them to come after being on the job to unwind and relax.

The Downtown Darling has so much potential but is a shadow of its original self. We had seven adults in town for a family gathering. We had a great time, but we had to do a lot of work to make the house acceptable when we arrived. On the plus side, the beds were fine and the bathrooms and kitchen were clean. The location was great - quiet and walkable to downtown. However, the furniture is worn and we had to do maintenance on the dining room chairs before we could use them. The outdoor area was unusable until we scrubbed the furniture and swept piles of leaves and twigs off the porch. We also had to sweep the front rooms when we arrived as there were crumbs and dirt on the floors. The towels were thin and worn out and basic items such as dish towels and silverware were miserly. Overall, the Downtown Darling needs a refresh and the outside areas need to be included in the cleaning regimen.

Terrible mattresses

Location is decent. However Loud trains late at night and early morning. And terrible mattresses. Budget hotels will have better mattresses.

Great house for a group, but only one full bathroom

We enjoyed the house for a group. The kitchen was nice and we were excited about the outdoor area because we were hosting a tailgate before the men's soccer game. The outdoor furniture and cushions were very dirty and there was mold on the cushions and pizza boxes on the side porch with leftover pizza. But we really enjoyed our time, mostly stood at the tailgate, decorated with floral and enjoyed the bedroom situations.

I rented this house for the second year in a row due to it's convenient location to Bethlehem's Musikfest. It was adequate, but dirty. There were beer cans in the yard when we checked in. I did see a mouse in the hallway halfway through our stay. Old popcorn kernals under the pillows on the couch....things like that. Dead flys on top of the fridge when we checked in. For local TV - there is no way to watch the local channels like ABC, NBC, CBS, there is only a smartTV.

Do Not Stay Here- we didn't

Fruit flies in the sink, dead bugs throughout the house, and a sticky residue on everything in the kitchen, including the floors. When this was brought up, owner had excuses as to why, and told me that with window AC units she couldn't keep bugs out. Madam, I have stayed in cabins in the woods without dead bugs. Through this app! Refused a partial refund and we wound up staying at a hotel instead. Oh and this was for a funeral which made the event even worse.

Cable

The property is in a perfect location to downtown. It is walking distance to every event downtown. We were there to babysit our grand baby so we had a lot of time at the house and we did not have great TV service. They need to step up the cable no live TV and cable is very very limited. Everything like CBS or NBC old shows would cost 2.50 to watch. The TV situation was very disappointing. The bathrooms were clean they were like wiped down but did not smell clean, they needed some disinfectant. They bedrooms were all a great size and the window air units worked great in cooling down the house.

Family Friendly Central Bethlehem House

We were incredibly happy with our stay here! We wanted to visit with family but have a separate place to stay due to COVID. We were looking for something with outdoor space and this did not disappoint!. The backyard was beautiful, with a lot of different outdoor seating options with lots of shade provided by the wisteria covered pergola and sun umbrella. The grill was in good shape and worked great! Having a fenced in yard made it easy to let our guard down and let our 2yr old wander and explore. Speaking of kids, this house is incredibly family friendly and would be great for a family with kids of almost any age- I may hesitate to bring a 12-20m old who is walking but can't listen to direction yet just b/c there are nice decorations at low levels that would be hard to parent. Otherwise, the upstairs bedroom/play room is packed with toys and games for all ages and all the outlets in the house had outlet covers on them. The house comes with kid bowls, plates and utensils (BYO sippy cup). The bedrooms all would fit a pack and play some w/ more space than others. If I were to make a suggestion to summer visitors, I would say bring temporary black out curtains or black vinyl covering since the bedroom windows face west and are very bright during bedtime. It would be a great Musicfest house since it is a short walk down spring st. to the kidsplatz area as well. There is a public park w/ playground close by as is the rose garden, and the monocacy/ historic bethlehem. As someone who grew up in Bethlehem, I can honestly say it was a super convenient location to lots of the things I come back to see. We will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway

Our family had a wonderful mini break in this lovely home. We were 40 minutes from the ski slopes and really enjoyed the house. Audrey was super kind, responsive and pleasant to deal with.
