“Propriété indépendante, les enfants ont pu pleinement profiter du très vaste terrain. Très grande surface habitable de la maison, nous étions 10 et chaque famille pouvait avoir son intimité. Gentillesse des propriétaires, merci à Fatima et Tony. Disponibilité et accueil chaleureux de Maria et son mari, merci. Notre séjour s'est super bien passé. Ne manquait que la piscine au sein de la propriété, dommage étant donné le potentiel du jardin. Nous reviendrons si l'occasion se présente!”

“This is a really lovely property: large, modern, beautiful, comfortable. It is in a small village, and is 1-2 hours away from many wonderful Portugal experiences, including, the sea shore, Douro Valley, Porto, Schist Villages, Tomar (must see the Templar castle there), Fatima, and more. As Americans, we were happy to drive and have a great home base to return to each day. Steve is a wonderful host. Definitely choose this property if you can.”

“The apartment is within steps (literally) of the town market, the Elevator to the university, and the main pedestrian plaza. It faces a pedestrian alley and is quiet at night. The Host was gracious with our communications when I was confused about the check-in process. They provided well written and detailed instructions that I failed to read carefully. The kitchen was well stocked so that you could easily cook there, coffee, tea, some spices and oils were present. Shower was roomy, soaps were……

“The house is a beautifully redone schist structure in the center of Talasnal. All the comforts of home; nicely stocked kitchen, great fireplace (heated the whole house), comfortable beds, and nice hot showers. Great hikes just walking out the front door…although we did get lost the first day. Haha. Both Joao and Alda were super responsive and so helpful. Even offering to pick us up in Candal after our very long misplaced hike. Definitely purchase any supplies before arriving as the tiny Mercado……

“Antonio was very accommodating, he gave us a personal tour of the museum and chapel in the village. The community pool was very refreshing. A remote village, perfect for a rejuvenating vacation.”

“Excellent séjour dans un logement typiquement portugais. L'emplacement est excellent du point de vue de l'emplacement mais la présence d'un bar qui ferme tardivement, juste en face, peut rendre les nuits difficiles si on utilise les deux chambres (sur trois) du côté rue. Hormis cela (qui ne dépend pas du propriétaire), rien à dire : l'accueil, la propreté, la disposition, tout est parfait. Nous y reviendrons volontiers.”

Région à découvrir, villages et paysage autour d'un massif montagneux qui vaut vraiment le détour, si on aime le calme. Des accès pour baignade très bien aménagé. Voiture indispensable.”
