Alpharetta Historic Hotel

"I stayed there with my family for 3 days. The staff, gym, pool, parking garage and overall hotel were good. The hotel is also located close to a lot of places. The downside of this experience was the room. It heavily smelled like cigarettes smoke and it was supposed to be a none smoking room. There was a shoe, a sock and Cheetos on the floor. It obviously didn’t get cleaned well. The bathroom tub was clogged and would take forever for the water to drain when someone would shower. Another thing Bo didn’t like was that the parking is $12 a day and I didn’t know that until I got to check in. "

"The room was filthy upon arrival and clearly had not been properly cleaned. In addition to the poor condition of the room, the staff was extremely rude and unaccommodating when we brought these issues to their attention. They showed little concern and made no effort to resolve the situation. And they make you park in the regular parking lot and it’s not other place to park. Room smelled like pool water The hotel also advertises a pool, and it was around 75 degrees outside, yet the pool was closed with no prior notice. This was one of the amenities we specifically looked forward to and part of the reason we chose this property. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and unavailable amenities made for a very disappointing stay. I would appreciate management reviewing this situation and addressing it appropriately."

"The bar area and food were excellent. The gym was very efficient and a nice touch to have bottled water. Unfortunately the room looked outdated, internet was very slow and spotty. Just to watch a show on Netflix was annoying with image being pixelated, if not buffereing. Room had no refrigerator and the ice machine was broken. And $45 a night to park is a definite turnoff. Next time I'll stay somewhere else."
