“A nostalgic cabin in the woods. It has all the conveniences needed for comfort. Doans Bones BBQ is practically across the street and has excellent BBQ! Wish we had more time to explore the area, but only stayed here to attend a few events at Penn State, which was about a 20 min drive. The owners were very responsive to any questions we texted. It is an old cabin, so it comes with some rough aspects. The bathroom was nicely updated and clean, the beds were comfortable and the overall layout was……

“The area is gorgeous and the property is beautiful. Three floors gave everyone ample space, the building's temperature control is fantastic, and there's a lot of indoor and outdoor relaxing areas. I very much reccomend it to anyone staying in the area!”

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay here while visiting our daughter for family weekend at Juniata College. My daughter also stayed over one night. Extremely clean and well equipped house, beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay again when we visit her. Only slight thing to be aware of is it's a pretty long gravel road to get to the house so be aware if that's an issue for your car (it was fine for us).”

“This place was amazing. 14 of us stayed (7 teenagers, 2 twentysomethings, 3 forty somethings, and 2 grandparents!!!). From oldest to youngest we ALL loved this place. It fit us all comfortably with lots of space inside. All three levels were set up for constant entertainment. The loft and chill area, main level kitchen and living room was so gorgeous and open, and the basement was entertainment central. Wet bar, guitars, drums on a riser (with strobe lights to boot). The pool table, and other……

“We were coming from NC and were meeting family here to stay with to attend my aunt Funeral . Cabin is very cozy , very clean and well kept . We really did not stay in the cabin long . I wish we could have been able to stay there for a more getaway trip . It would be a perfect cabin to stay . The fire pit was nice. We brought some wood to use one night we were there . Cabin is very well insulated so it stayed nice and warm inside .”

“Costly for what it is. At a hotel the bathroom is in same room, black out shades, more space, better beds with pillows and blankets, most places offer free breakfast all for less than $200. Thankful it was available but costly. Very quiet Very clean I would recommend 1 of bigger cabins for longer stays, seemed like a safe welcoming place to be. Thus would be 4 star overall review.”

“Planned this trip to walk the 1000 steps standing stone trail as a sisters weekend. The owners are amazing and super friendly! Get folks to chat with and learn about their property.
