“Staff were great”

“Thanks to the receptionist Samuel for his excellent service and recommendations for local dining restaurants. All the staff in the hotel was friendly and helpful with personal warmth. The hotel itself is at great location, clean room, and free minibar provided. We had a wonderful experience staying in Marthof Hotel and will definitely stay here again next time when we come back. ”

“It is a bit far from the Basel train station but the tram number 8 can take you nearby, hotel host upgraded my room to a bigger size on top floor, while you cannot imagine it is a big hotel from outside, good bathroom with enough hot and water pressure, easy to reach most of the Basel old town attractions”

“Perfect location in Marktplaz. Nice size, full kitchen appliances and nice sleeper couch for our grown son who joined us. Checkin was simple. Early morning truck delivering packages was just part of the city experience. Great time!”

“The room is very spacious and comfortable with most of the necessary items included ! The bed is comfortable and big enough. I chose Junior suit for family stay which would not make us feel crowded. Though the hotel is no located right near Basel SBB station, it just takes 5mins bus (no.30 at station C next to Basel station) to arrive hotel. The surroundings of the hotel are silent and beautiful. I love this stay ! Moreover, the hotel provided us a card per head for taking the transport in Basel……

“Considering how expensive Switzerland is, this cozy hotel is value for money. The tram is just right downstair. The staff are warm and welcoming. For example, at breakfast, when there was freshly baked croissant, the staff came around and handed out the hot and fresh croissant. When I checked-in too late, around 23:00, the staff was nice and patience. ”

“Super convenient location if flying from Basel-Mulhouse airport. Only a 10 minute drive to the terminal. Clean hotel with good facilities and plenty of parking spaces ”

“L’hôtel est relativement récent. Installation très propres, confortable. Élément pratique, les prises de courant sont adaptées pour brancher le téléphone et la tablette. L’hôtel est bien situé pour accéder à Bâle, 15 minutes en voiture du centre. Mais il est possible de prendre le bus ou le tram pour s’y rendre. Le transport est à 15 minutes de marche. Personnel très accueillant. Merci”
