「Staff was amazing, the place was clean and had everything we needed. Location was a bit noisy at night and on a busy street so made backing out with the golf cart a little tricky. The locals are not very patient. The rooftop pool area was great!」

「This property was simply amazing. It was nice quiet tucked away but not to far from the party. The property staff were amazing from the time I booked until the time we departed. They assisted us to back and forth to beach complementary a back and forth to the water taxi to go on our excursions. The rooms were gorgeous just as advertised and very spacious. I will definitely be bringing my family back to just stay here and enjoy Belize.」

「Others should’ve been more transparent about their stay here and I wouldn’t have booked. So I’ll try and be more honest. This is a much older hotel but it was very clean and the staff were extremely nice. It’s very close to the water taxi port and centered around lots of popular tourist spots. There is no elevator so you have to pack your luggage up stairs but they only have 4 levels. The building is hot and smelly like mildew but the a/c was good in the rooms. For what I paid I could’ve got...

「Positives: Rooms are well kept, have fridges and AC as well as TV with streaming options. Helps you wind down at night. Pool is refreshing and normally chill vibe. Offers quality west-facing views. Also, hotel keeps a water dispenser handy which is very convenient and affordable.
Negatives: Poolside bar is rarely staffed and prices are high. The poolside loungers are not comfortable.」

「The property didn’t appear to what it looked like in the picture. The air conditioner above the bedroom wall was leaking on to the bed and my head where we sleep multiple times. The room gets hot in the middle of the night. We notified the staff and he tried to fix it but he stated it had to be fixed when we check out. They also need to update their cookware. The beach water had seaweed all over it. We couldn’t get in the water. They had to replace the coffee maker which was not working.」

「Our stay at the Dock House was definitely more GLAMPing than camping. We had a great breeze which allowed for us to sleep with the windows open and no mosquito net needed. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have experienced in Belize. (We have been traveling to Belize for years and typically stay in places under $200/night). We had breakfast both mornings and really enjoyed it! Very peaceful 2 days up north. 10/10 recommend!」
