"This hotel is absolutely excellent! It is beautiful, clean and safe and the staff are exceptional! It is a little away from Gondar town which is really nice and it is gated with security. It has outdoor patio area and a rooftop sitting area and a bar. Our stay Included breakfast which was made to order and delicious! Rooms have a balcony and are elegant and comfortable. Hot water at all times and they have a generator. We will absolutely be staying again! Thank you to the staff!! "

"WE GOT SCAMMED!!!!!!!! THEY STOLE OUR MONEY,
BE CAREFUL IN LALIBELA FOR SCAMS. EXPEDIA PLEASE REIMBURSE MY MONEY !!! do not book or you may loose all your money. they email you days later and its false. but Lalibela is beautiful. just we lost hundreds of dollars. town is infested with fraud.... lok for mole. best tour guide in Lalibela and honest loving young man. he great thanks "

"Avoid this scam!
We booked this hotel and payed in advance with Expedia. As we checked out the hotel asked for 100 USD for 2 nights which is way higher than it should be. As of now(2020/01/25) the hotel claims that they don't work with Expedia.
The host speaks only numbers and a few English words making communication impossible and scamming quite possible. We asked to book a shuttle to the airport the day before but they only called the shuttle service 30 mins before departure. The shuttle...
