TWO BEDROOMS WITH TWO PRIVATE BATHROOMS - IDEAL FOR 2 COUPLES
Our apartment is on the ground floor at the beautiful and quiet Bloemgracht (Flower canal), in the Jordaan. The Jordaan is the most beautiful neighborhood right in the city center of Amsterdam.
With it's 2 bedrooms, both with there own private bathroom, the place is excellently fitted for two couples or a family.
If you are a family with up to two children you find in BLOEMBED an excellent location.
There are no cooking facilities but a Nespresso coffee machine, tea facilities and an egg cooker are at your disposal.
A supermarket, all kind of restaurants like Mediterranean, Indonesian, Chinees, Thai and even Dutch cuisine, are all within walking distance. (and than we mean, no more than 5 minutes walk!) Also all kind of little shops and a laundry are around the corner.
Our apartment is close to some interesting spots:
- Anne Frank House (4 minutes walk)
- Rijksmuseum (20 minutes walk)
- Van Gogh Museum (22 minutes walk)
- Red Light District (15 minutes walk)
- Heineken Experience (26 minutes walk)
- Houseboat Museum (8 minutes walk)
- Amsterdam Cheese Museum (5 minutes walk)
- Amsterdam Central Station (20 minutes walk)
- Vondelpark (20 minutes walk)
- Dam Square (15 minutes walk)

Fab time in Amsterdam
This place was exactly what we were looking for - a simple but comfortable spot to stay while we got out and explored all Amsterdam had to offer. The place was just as described. It had a wonderful neighbourhood feel, but was super-close to so much by foot, and lots more by multiple trams minutes away. We loved the city this spot as our base for exploring! The only negative was that because it is on ground level with such narrow streets, you could really hear all that was going on outside, but it's generally not a busy street. If this won't bother you, stay here!

Overpriced for a construction zone! Poor communication! Misleading listing, not worth the money!
This apt is located in the best neighborhood! Awesome location to explore this amazing city but the listing pics are obviously old as there is a lot more wear & tear on this apartment than in the listing pictures. Each bedroom has 2 old coiled mattress twin beds pushed together with foam covers to try to cover up how old and sunken in the mattresses are, that are extremely uncomfortable and didn’t stay together so belongings kept getting lost in between beds. “Living room” is very small containing only an old loveseat with flat old pillows, no tv or radio or anything to do together in the living area (bedrooms had tvs). No hot water in one of bathroom sinks. We loved the location so were willing to overlook the state of apartment since we spend all day/evening out exploring the city and really just needed a safe and clean place to shower & sleep but sleep on your own time was not happening here as we were woken up at 7am to extremely loud and disruptive construction in the owners apartment above us (loud machines and so much movement we woke up to it sounding/feeling like someone was going to come through the ceiling). Tried to contact hosts to kindly ask if construction could possibly start later (9am on is perfectly acceptable) and they ignored my messages! Who rents out a construction zone for so much money and wakes up guests at 7am? And then doesn’t reply to messages?? Terrible experience with host! Highly recommend this neighborhood,
you can find a better apt.

Great Apartment on a Beautiful Canal
This apartment is in a perfect location and the pictures are exactly what you get. There are 2 very large bedrooms with 2 good sized baths. We were greeted with a great bottle of wine, which was so appreciated after our long travels (Thank you Daan!)
We had an issue with no hot water and a broken hair dryer (which we were alerted to by Daan). The hot water was fixed relatively quickly (needed a new part), and the hair dryer was replaced that same day. Later in our stay, the heat stopped working, but with a call to Daan, it was restarted and heating again within 3 hours.
Daan was SUPER responsive, and he has a nice team of helpers to address your every need.
There are shops and restaurants close by, and the apartment is in a great location for shopping, and tourist attractions.
Our only issue was the noise related to the gutting and rebuilding of the apartment above us. The workers began their drilling and sawing at 6:30 AM!!! After a few days, they delayed their start until 8 AM.
We highly recommend this apartment and could stay here again if we ever come back to Amsterdam.

Location & comfort in the Jordaan neighborhood in Amsterdam!
Lovely apartment in a great location for visiting Amsterdam! Very clean with comfortable beds. Perfect for two couples. Quiet neighborhood most of the time (except we did hear some loud voices on Friday night for just a short time as they passed by; but that was only the exception).
Host/hostess was very responsive.
We would definitely choose this apartment again!

Great location
Perfect size for a family of 4, great location in the Jordaan neighborhood within walking distance to the the Anne Frank house and so many great restaurants and bars. Easy walk to the Tram to explore the rest of the city. Host was super helpful and responsive. Check in/out was a breeze and host left us a nice bottle of wine to enjoy along with coffee for nespresso and tea as well. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay in Amsterdam.
