“Honeymoon cottage is a lovely little cabin. Having been touring New England for 3 weeks we wanted a place to just relax for a few days. Well this place fitted the bill perfectly. It is very comfortable, the weather was just staring to get a bit cooler but with the log fire and the heating it was very cosy. Easy check in and everything you could need. ”

“This beautiful cozy cabin was the perfect fall getaway for our family. The kids loved the loft bedroom and the back porch overlooking the lake was incredibly serene and peaceful. The kids spent lots of time exploring outside or cozied up in the living room with hot cocoa. Everything functions great, it’s clean, and just the right mix of comfort and primitive rustic feeling. Very good central location to explore so much of central VT. We hit Woodstock, Killington, Okeemo Overlook, and Weston and……

“The property was perfect for our ski-in/ski-out preference. All 5 of us had more than enough space to spread out and relax. The kitchen was very well equipped for our needs. The views, deck, hot tub, and sauna were outstanding after a long day skiing/boarding. Maureen and Dana were very responsive and available, communication was outstanding. I would absolutely rent this property again.”

“Excellent location! Nicely renovated with great views of the lake. It could be a little hard to find in the dark on your first time there. There was a small issue with there, not being some towels in one of the bathrooms, but they did bring some by. Very nice place highly recommend!”

“Very nice place. Beds were comfortable and the place was really roomy and clean. Would have like some instructions for the tv and hot tub, which never really heated up. The basement had a bad smell so we didn't go down there. We found wet cushions in a room down there, so they may have a leak somewhere. But the smell didn't get upstairs.Overall, it was a fun weekend, and we would definitely return.”

“Room was clean, spacious and quiet. We had an amazing view and were warmly greeted by the staff. Upon check-in we were informed that they were proactively moving our stay to another building because of problems that had been reported. Thankful for their foresight so we didn't have to endure any issues whatsoever! Check-in and parking were extremely easy with the instructions provided via email. Would definitely recommend a stay at the Jackson Gore Building. ”

“This was our second trip to this gorgeous property, and once again, we had a wonderful time. Our group of moms were able to relax in all areas of the home, including the pool and hot tub, fire pit outside and fireplace inside, and on the beautiful deck by the outdoor kitchen. Everything was clean and communication with the host was simple and easy.We so wish we could've stayed longer, but we will be back again next year!”
