Perfect family getaway

My family and I had a great weekend in Angel Fire staying in this property. The hot tub was hot and ready after our days skiing. The ski in/ski out was manageable and easier than driving down the mountain. The home was stocked with nice toilet paper and paper towels. Sometimes, it’s the little things! It was nice not to have to think about things like spices and dishwashing liquid. Our boys loved all the games. Highly recommend!

Perfect get-away

Cannot express how lovely this house is. Perfectly secluded location, clean, well-stocked, great communication with house managers.... My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary with our pups. Lots of nice peaceful walks and beautiful sunsets. We will be back!

Great cabin in the woods!

Luke is a great host and we really enjoyed staying at this cabin. Everything was as advertised and the communication from Luke was fantastic! We had no issues during our stay. We will look forward to staying again!

Beautiful views! Peaceful!

My husband and I just wanted to get away for a few days and this was the perfect place. Quiet and beautiful. The sunsets were spectacular and watching the deer come visit every evening was a nice surprise.

Quiet and beautiful!

The location of this house is set up high in the mountains so the views are so beautiful! The house was perfect for my family of 5 and our friends who stayed with us a few of the days. The kitchen was excellent and it was such a nice surprise to have so many staples already in the home. We would definitely stay here again and again when we visit angel fire again to mountain bike or ski!

Great Mountain Retreat

We loved staying here! It was secluded and a beautiful location. We saw deer regularly from the balcony. The property manager was very responsive about any issues or questions we had. The house is tastefully decorated. The kids (and adults) had fun with all the games, shuffleboard and foosball. Make sure you don’t leave food in your car, we did have a bear come visit one night.

Beautiful property!

As advertised and great communication with owner. The house was very well stocked with everything you need. The ski out wasn't super easy, but we managed to do it! It was nice to be off a green run for those of us who need to get our "sea legs" first. We loved the seclusion of the house and the hot tub was a welcome relief at the end of the day. We will definitely be back next year! Thanks Luke!

Seclusion on the Slopes

If you want to escape the crowds found at the base of Angel Fire, this place is excellent. Ski-in/out works perfectly. The property is great for all ages; our grandkids enjoyed all the games offered, the parentals enjoyed the fireplace.

Winter Wonderland

Snuggly located in the trees. Great view, great location. Peaceful and beautiful. The slopes were great. We all had blessed, marvelous time. Looking forward to next time.

Great ski cabin

We loved this cabin! Beautiful and just the right size for a small family. We were able to ski in and ski out to "Headin' Home" which made the weekend very convenient. The hosts were extremely communicative and helpful even though we stayed through Christmas Eve. They were attentive via text, everything was provided and clean and ready to go when we arrived. Thanks for a great stay, we'll definately come again!

Perfect home and location!

This home was the nicest VRBO we’ve stayed at, out of many! The location was gorgeous and private with endless opportunities to explore. The house had everything you could want, and then some. Hosts were VERY responsive to our questions. Big snow the day we left, wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 dogs for our anniversary. The cabin is absolutely beautiful inside and has incredible views out every window. It’s very secluded and you can’t see other houses around you. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with anything you could need. It is up the mountain pretty far, so it does take about 20 minutes to get to a grocery store. We took our dogs for walks just on the roads and found gorgeous views and saw a lot of wildlife. If you’re looking for a peaceful and secluded getaway this is the right place. We hope to come back anytime we can!

Peaceful Forest Getaway

This is the location if you are looking for a peaceful place above the tree line. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. Evenings in the hot tub amongst the stars were incredible. Sitings of deer, elk, and turkeys were a common daily experience in this location. I highly recommend this location and property.

Modern Mountain Cabin

This was a beautiful property with amazing views. Everything was fully stocked and ready for our visit. We loved playing games, doing puzzles and sitting in the hot tub at night. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Mostly Awesome/One-Time Slip Up?

The cabin’s location near the top of the mtn. so close to the trails, was amazing! We had mtn bikers in our group of eight (adults & teens) to enjoy the trails for the off-season, so this made it super convenient and ideal. I do see the reviews have been really high, so thinking that this is a unique situation and hoping Luke can get everything lined up nicely again for the next guests. We all felt the cabin was not ready for our arrival; dirty floors showing up on our socks within 1/2 hr of arrival, not sufficiently stocked with supplies; bath towels/kitchen garbage bags/foil or food wrap. The jacuzzi needed to be topped off with water from the hose underneath second story deck, before we could even use it. The grill contained two empty propane tanks, water pressure was pretty weak for showers and dish washing. The host, Luke, was very responsive, polite, informative about attractions, he just did not respond with the answers we were hoping for during our stay…he apologized and refunded one nights stay. He gave us instructions to fix water pressure and if that did not work, (which it didn’t) he offered to call the city). All in all, again this cabin is beautifully laid out inside and out. The main attractions were the location, the beautiful view from the deck and the jacuzzi! We even spotted several deer around the cabin the morning we were leaving right off the deck which was a special treat!

Great place great getaway great for bikers!

Amazing property for anyone biking angel fire for a few days. You are literally 150 yards from the top of the diesel and turbo diesel runs. This is the best bike in bike out place we’ve ever rented. Also it’s incredibly quiet. Not even a car noise in the distance. You really can relax there and you feel like the rest of the world is far far away

Plan ahead and you'll love this place!

This house has everything you could want in a vacation rental. We enjoyed the hot tub, games, and all the touches that made it feel like home. We wish we had known how far we were from town. It takes 15 minutes on a rough, windy dirt road (watch out for car sickness!) to get to stores and restaurants. The privacy and views are worth it, just be sure to plan ahead. Stock up on a lot of groceries, and don't plan on just "popping into town" for meals.

Awesome place, great location!

First off, the place was amazing. The hot tub on the porch was great after a day of snowboarding. The ski in and ski out was pretty straight forward. We just got a TON of snow so getting in and out was quite a chore when the snow was past the knees. We had a few incidences with our stay, the host was the best though. Super responsive every single time I needed help. We got stuck on the mountain on our way in one night, Luke had me multiple numbers for people to pull us out, within minutes! The locals were helpful first thing in the morning and got us out. The place was built within the past couple years so it’s very modern and up to date. Has beautiful views. Great place to stay and by far one of the best hosts I’ve had!

Love skiing Angel Fire

We picked this VRBO for two main reasons. One, the games for the kids looked fun and they were. Two, it was listed as a ski in and ski out. It was a hike to Heading Home. It would have been ok if we didn’t have kids. The hike out is a decent workout and the ski in was easy.. The hike out was not doable for our kids. The house is on a beautiful property and we really enjoyed the beauty and privacy. Four wheel drive is a must if it is snowing.
