Great getaway.

We stayed here for a little time to regroup and do absolutely nothing. It's close by reasonably priced. Our room was clean and the place was very quiet. Just what we needed.

The property is currently undergoing much needed renovations. The lobby and breakfast area are lovely, so I'm sure the hotel will be delightful when renovations are finished. The front desk staff was very friendly, the room was clean, the pool was clean and operable, and I don't really ask for much more when I am traveling.

We liked that the property was dog friendly. While the towels and sheets were clean, they were well worn and had visible stains. The carpet in our room was new, but there was a small area cut out near the bathroom door. The bathroom fixtures on the tub and shower were old and rusty. The shears on our windows were ripped. The plastic tray for the coffee maker that holds the coffee pod did not fit the machine in our room. When I went to the dining area for coffee, it was made in a Mr. coffee not the commercial urn. The cream and sugar were in recycled containers and no serving spoon available. The light poles lighting the parking lot were leaning and propped up, one by a tree! We slept well, our bed was comfortable, and our showers were hot. We felt the management’s efforts to cut costs leaned to cheap and low budget.

A week ago I stayed in one of their rooms that had not been cleaned. The towels were dirty the jacuzzi tub was full of dirt in the bottom there were dog prints on the blankets on the bed nothing had been wiped off nothing swept. I had to clean the room myself when I told the girl at the front desk she said oh the housekeeper that quit must not have cleaned it and not once offered me a clean room or to have it cleaned.

We left 5 mins after checking in and getting to our room. We pulled the comforter down on the bed and saw 2 live bedbugs. They refunded me, but I’m sure they didn’t shut the entire hotel down to thoroughly clean. Never stay there again!!

receptionist it was friendly and kind but we get a handicapped room smelling so really bad,no microwave, breakfast time it was very very limited even when I went early and we choose going to eat somewhere else, I know it was a cheap hotel but at least I was expecting a room nice, clean and smelling good.

Dogs are a charge of $10 each. I did not see that amount on the website. I would like to know a number. We had to change rooms 3 times due to broken air conditioners.

We stayed here one night and it wasn’t good at all. Right away we noticed the sign from the hotel was off the building so we weren’t for sure it was the right place. There was a piece of paper on the front door stating they were under construction, but it was obviously just an excuse for the poor condition of everything. Coffee table in the room was broken on one side. The jacuzzi tub had dirt and human hair on the inside of it and the front panel of it was broken off. The rear entrance lock was broken so people could come and go as they please. We went out to breakfast because the hotel breakfast consisted of a couple of stale cereal choices and frozen waffles that had seen better days. Not an enjoyable stay.

Bad experience!!!!

Check in was horrible... The employee at front desk was very rude. The door to my room was not even shut all the way on arrival and you had to pull up on the door to get it to shut when inside the room or elce you could just push it open from the outside. There was a empty soda bottle under the bedside table.

Never Again

Bed bugs that we didn’t realize it’s what it was until night 2 of 2, super early in the morning when I snapped this picture. We were blaming day one itchiness on the climate. We all came home with bites on our legs and lower backs. First experience with bed bugs. Completely disgusted. Dead bolt didn’t work. Random holes in all the walls. I stared at a black spot in the ceiling at 2am convinced a big roach was going to fall on my face. Not a roach, it was a hole. Pool was so cloudy it looked like milk. Hard pass. Random broken chair sitting in the hall. Random ice/water machine thing in the hall, also broken. Work order from literally years ago hanging from the curtain rod. Loud bangs in the middle of the night. Nonskid mat in the tub was so gross I took a shower at the house of people we were visiting. Didn’t attempt the breakfast because I was scared to. You’re better off staying in Carbondale or Cape and paying the same amount for a much better hotel stay. I typically stay in Cape but needed to be more local due to shared transportation. But hey! At least the blanket was soft! Never ever again. Nope.

No other hotel choice if you really wanted to be in town. There's other one close here but this is quite good than the other one. Whenever you are in the country area just don't expect too much. If you and your family decided to spend time at the pool please check the pool first, i mean the water. When we were there we had to clean the pool. It's nasty, looks like stuff from the vacuum cleaner with bunch of hair floating around plus not treated at all. Be extra careful on the bathroom floor especially on 1st floor because it's quite slippery. 2nd floor is quite ok. But i recommend you to wipe a wet towel with soap to get slippery off

Checked in around 5:30am due to bad storms and having to drive very slow. Went up to my room and sat on the Futon take my boots off and my butt touched the floor. Finally was able to get about 3hrs of sleep after unwinding from the drive and getting a shower. My friend chose the bed by the restroom , I took the bed by the window. Started to doze off and rolled over and the bed flipped off the box that it’s on. Went down to the front desk at 9:30 to complain the lady was very rude and nasty. She asked if it was the bed by the window and I said yes, then after continuing to be nasty, started saying that she knew about the futon but not the bed? Why did she know which bed flipped me into the floor??? Worst stay ever!!!!
