“Pedro is a fantastic host who is full of information about Coimbra and the rest of Portugal. The home is very comfortable and right across the river from old town Coimbra. Lovely outdoor space with a spectacular view. There is a nearby bus that takes you to the university for only 2 euros. Excellent restaurants within a very short distance. Highly recommend!”

“We came back to Portugal after four years having spent many years on the Algarve and touring from the far North, through the centre and along the whole coast. We wanted to find a typical, unspoiled area this time and found this lovely villa near Penela. The location, surroundings and countryside are so beautiful and unspoiled. It is Portugal as we remembered it, near to so many lovely places, amazing beaches and fantastic restaurants. Prices are still very good and we had some lovely meals. A……

“We enjoyed so much staying in this beautiful house with private swimming pool. The place is surrounded by tranquil nature but the town is very close by and the closest shop and restaurant are in a walking distance. The hosts were really nice and helpful and provided us everything we needed for a lovely holiday. Everthing is also very clean and well organized. The atmosphere in this place is unique. We would love to go again.”

“Das Haus ist sehr schön, sehr sauber und wirklich gut ausgestattet! Wir haben nichts vermisst! Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Die ländliche Lage ist traumhaft und ruhig. Die Umgebung ist eine Reise wert. Aufgrund der Abgeschiedenheit und der hügeligen Landschaft muss man allerdings lange Fahrtzeiten einplanen. Unbedingt besuchen: Fragos São Simao!!!”

“The process was simple and the property was everything we expected. the only negative was the shower curtain, had some mold and I did have to wash it before taking a shower so that was a bit of an oversight. Other than that the cleanliness was spot on in the remainder of the home. We enjoyed the location as it was central to our interests. The neighbourhood was friendly and the local bakery was spectacular.”

“Maison très agréable et à proximité de tout commerces. Nous avons pu visiter les alentours mais avec difficultés de circuler car il y avait des travaux. C'est bien d'avoir mis des Ventilateurs car il faisait très chaud dans les chambres.Par contre le frigo était trop petit pour 4 adultes.”
