“We had an amazing week long stay at Gustavo’s house in Lamay. The house and property are unique and beautiful and located in a stunning valley surrounded by mountains. One of the many mountain rivers that feed the Urubamba runs right through the beautifully designed and maintained grounds. Gustavo’s communication and attention to detail is excellent, he supplied us with fantastic information throughout our trip planning and supported us as flight cancellations altered our plans. “We stayed at Villa Kampuwasi in Urubamba for 8 days and we absolutely loved it. The house and the grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. It is tastefully decorated and everything is very comfortable. The staff was exceptional. I highly recommend staying in Urubamba instead of Cusco if you want to explore Sacred Valley. We used it as a base to do a two day trip to Machu Picchu and day trips around the valley. I was happy we did not rent a car and relied on local professional……

"the room is fair. you got what you pay, they have everything you need, even kettle. meanwhile, the staff is super super nice ！ full star for them and the breakfast is nice. they have really nicr fried rice"

"The hotel is very comfy, with nice staff and environment, the beds and toilet are all clean. There is staff standby in the front desk 24hrs, so even if we arrived the hotel late in midnight, still able to have help from the staff. The breakfast lady is very nice too. But the location is not in city centre, we have to travel through uber each time for about 15mins, but it is easy to call uber so doesnt really bothered. They got thick blanket so it's warm and cozy in bed, but since the room is quite cold without heater, it is freezing cold when you are out of bed 4 in the midnight preparing to go out for some tour. Prepare really warm clothes."
