“Although the host was right next door we did feel we had our privacy. The cabin had many personal family photos which made us feel a little like we were invading their space. So as constructive criticism perhaps a little less personal items would make future renters feel more at home. All in all the hiking was fun and the property provided a restful and relaxing time. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating.”

“Location was great, host was very communicative and accommodating. Cabin was perfect for our needs for a weekend getaway and the place was stocked with anything you could think of. Like impossibly thoughtful in this way. Only challenge was getting into the driveway which is a bit precarious but very much a minor detail in the scheme of things. “My mom and I went to Candor to visit her hometown and childhood friends and we chose this location to stay in Spencer. It is within a beautifully and well kept historic property. While there are other units we had our own dedicated space and we wouldn’t have known anyone else was there. Conveniently located next to Nickals park and Lake which was beautiful and has a convenient little mile hiking trail around he water. The diner down the block and the pizzeria are delicious!
