Nicklegrae Sands Apollo Bay

Nickelgrae Sands is a modern family friendly well-equipped townhouse featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a secure fenced back garden, which is great for kids and pets. Only a short stroll to the beach, shops or the town's great selection of cafes.

Downstairs is open plan living, kitchen, lounge and dining area. There is a Daikin split system air conditioner and heater which services the downstairs and large 60 inch TV with Foxtel. NBN wifi is provided. There are sliding doors leading on to a deck with outdoor setting, BBQ and umbrella. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven, dishwasher plus everything else you could need.The laundry has a washing machine and adjoining toilet and shower.

Upstairs you will find the main bathroom with spa bath, vanity, shower and separate toilet. Two queen bedrooms each containing a built in wardrobe, ceiling fan, wall mounted TV with built in DVD. and views to nearby hills. The third bedroom is the kids retreat consisting of 3 sets of bunks (includes a tri-bunk), a large LED TV, Xbox 360 with some games provided.

Nickelgrae Sands is pet friendly but maximum of 2 dogs at anyone time. Bring own dog bedding, bowls etc.

Smoking is NOT permitted inside the property and linen is NOT provided.

Linen is NOT provided, you will need to supply your own sheet sets, pillowcases, towels and bath mat.

Great pet-friendly house close to the beach

Great choice for a group! Plenty of room to stretch out, loads of beds and a secure, sunny yard (perfect for the pooch). Centrally located a flat 5 minutes walk to the beach & 10 minutes walk to the surf club and cafes - excellent spot. Communication was excellent, smooth check-in & check-out. Would stay again!

Home sweet home

We stayed for 2 nights the house was perfect for 10 people everyone had there own bed and was comfortable.plenty of room to relax while the kid’s played upstairs.Would highly recommend this place so close to everything you need and do.

The host for this house has always been helpful, and this time was extra kind in arranging to post us some items we accidentally left at the house - big thanks also to the cleaner for their part in the mission! As always, a very comfortable house to stay in with the kids and a great location for our holiday activities. We shall return :-)

Lovely place

The house is great, clean, conveniently located in town, and the check-in process with the host was very easy. But I am very disappointed to not have linen, towels or even bath mats and tea towels. We didn't notice it was written in the description and had to buy some in town. We also had to buy toilet paper because there were barely any for the weekend. For a house that costs almost $400 per night, I think this should be standard, this is not a backpacker rental, we shouldn't have to pack so much while going away for the weekend, at least providing some tea towels to dry our hands & a bath mat to not slip after exiting the shower. More positively, the bath in the upstairs bathroom is amazing!

House was good. Outdoor table and BBQ were dirty. House can accommodate 8 people and has you covered for sleeping dining and lounge space. Just could do with a bigger refrigerator.

Overall, the stay was wonderful. However, there were a few minor issues.

The place was relatively clean. However, one of the blanket in the middle bedroom had a comforter that looked dirty. The lock of the front door was a bit hard to open the first time but after we got the hang of it, it was okay. There were lots of dog excrement in the backyard. The bedroom with the bunk beds had no television connection. The freezer was not cold enough and our ice cream melted overnight. However, the environment was very nice and we did enjoy it together as a family. It was at a convenient location near to the shops as well.
