Casa Rural Aranaratxe for 8 people

  • Casa Rural Aranaratxe is located in the village of Aranaratxe (province of Navarra) in the heart of the Natural Park “Sierra de Urbasa” and it has lovely views to the Natural Park “Monte de Lókiz”. The house, originally a nineteenth century barn, was restored in 2013. It maintains the wood and stone structure as well as the charm of the barn.

    It has capacity for 8 people distributed in 1 bedroom with a double bed and 3 bedrooms each with 2 single beds. It has a very spacious living and dining room with fireplace. Windows and balcony face south to Mount Lóquiz, which makes the place very light. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. It is opens on to the dining and living rooms.
    There are 2 bathrooms, each with shower and windows to the outside.
    The house also has a large games room on the ground floor and a beautiful garden with barbecue.
    The house is centrally heated and uses totally organic fuel (firewood and pellets).

    The motto of our house is zero boredom! You are in the center of a paradise of biodiversity with lush forests and rivers that nature has generously given to us. The Cascades of the Urederra River, The Magic Wood, the Balcony of Pilatus, countless trails for mountain biking, hiking and climbing, many caves with beautiful lakes and majestic stalactites and stalagmites, an adventure park, famous artisanal cheese-making, prehistoric ruins, etc. are some of the many wonders that you will find in this valley.
    Do not forget to taste the traditional cuisine at any of the restaurants in the valley and try the homemade “Patxaran”, if you do not have to drive!
    We are committed to you spending an unforgettable vacation. Therefore we will advise you and organize on request any of the activities.

    In less than 1.5 hours, it is possible to reach Bilbao, to visit the Guggenheim Museum, Vitoria which is the World Green and Gastronomic Capital, San Sebastian to surf and swim on the beach, La Rioja to visit the wineries and to taste the wine, Pamplona to visit old town and running of the bulls during San Fermin or Estella which is a mandatory stop on the St. James' Way.

Very nice stone house in a tiny Spanish village.

We loved being in this little village. The house has been very well renovated and is very comfortable. Our host and owner was so great to give us lots of information about hikes and things to see. The village has no restaurants or grocery stores so make sure you go shopping before you arrive.

Wonderful, relaxing stay

This was a really lucky find! Aranarache is a very quiet village in the mountains, with good access to hiking trails and outdoor activities, and not too far for an afternoon visit to nearby cities or wine regions. The host was wonderful, accommodating, and very helpful. The apartment was very roomy with good kitchen facilities, and gave us a much-needed break in the middle of our trip. We can hardly wait to go back!

Prachtige omgeving!

Heel leuke vakantiewoning, geweldige omgeving om te gaan wandelen zeker met de tips van Alfonso en Nicolas, wij zijn naar de watervallen geweest(reserveren gratis),boven op de berg tussen de dieren gewandeld en naar Pamplona, San Sebastian en Bilbao dit is op ongeveer iets meer dan een uurtje. En op donderdag naar de markt in Estella. Sympathieke eigenaars je kan altijd iets vragen!

Un magnífico recuerdo.

Sin duda, guardaremos siempre un magnífico recuerdo de nuestra estancia en Aranaratxe. La casa es estupenda. Muy limpia, cómods y bien equipada. En un lugar encantador y tranquilo, te regala cada mañana unas preciosas vistas. Pero lo mejor, sin duda, es el extraordinario trato recibido por parte de Alfonso y su hermano, siempre atentos a lo que pudiéramos necesitar y a aconsejarnos en nuestras salidas, siempre con muy buen criterio, todo con una discreción y respeto a nuestra intimidad notables. Su carácter hospitalario y amable es buen reflejo del carácter navarro. Entre todos consiguen que cualquier visitante de otra región se sienta como en casa. Mi agradecimiento a todos. Esta magnífica casa y su ubicación no sólo es ideal para turismo de naturaleza, Su situación te permite visitar algunos de los pueblos y ciudades más bonitos e interesantes de Álava, La Rioja o Navarra sin largos recorridos, ofreciéndote después el lugar de descanso ideal por su tranquilidad y belleza. Desde el primer momento nos encantó la casa, al igual que su entorno. El anfitrión nos recibió muy bien, nos informó sobre todas las actividades en la zona y siempre estuvo disponible para cualquier consulta. La casa es muy cómoda, eramos dos familias. A los más jóvenes les encantó la planta baja, especialmente la mesa de pin pón. La zona es preciosa, se pueden hacer muchos paseos y a pocos kilómetros hay una playa fluvial que se agradece en los dias calurosos. Fuimos al nacimiento del Urederra y al Balcón de Pilatos que nos encantaron. Desde allí también también visitamos Estella, El Castillo de Olite, Vitoria, Pamplona, Laguardia con sus fantásticas bodegas... En fin, hay mucho que ver y la casa es fantásticas, no os arrepentiréis.

Hemos estado genial, la casa un maravilla, decorada con mucho gusto, muy espaciosa y agradable, todo limpísimo, en la cocina no falta ningún detalle, el dueño encantador y el entorno muy bonito, cerca del Urederra, del Balcon de Pilatos, etc. Nos quedaron cosas por ver, así que volveremos!!!!

Excelente agroturismo para desconectar del bullicio urbano

Un agroturismo excelente, ubicado en un pueblo pequeño y tranquilo. Hay sitio para varios coches al lado de la casa. La casa está prácticamente nueva y bastante limpia. Como pega pondría que los colchones de las camas me parecieron excesivamente blandos y que los sofás tenían bastante polvo y/o ácaros, puesto que nos provocó alguna reacción alérgica. El anfitrión, fue muy amable y muy cordial en el trato, incluso aunque llegamos más tarde de lo previsto y no pudimos avisar por no tener cobertura móvil durante el trayecto. El wifi de la casa, si bien no es muy veloz, soportó sin problemas más de 10 dispositivos conectados a la vez. La sala de juegos es fantástica, del mismo tamaño o más que la planta destinada a la vivienda. Como única pega, lo mismo de los sofás de antes y que los dardos de la diana tenían mucho trote. Por lo demás, todo perfecto!

Casa rural espectacular

Excelente casa rural en Aranaratxe. Estuvimos del 16 al 20 de Marzo de 2017 en familia y unos amigos y tengo que decir que es lo mejor que he visto en mucho tiempo. La casa super limpia, totalmente equipada, tiene lavavajillas, lavadora etc... Los baños maravilosos, las camas muy comodas, cuando te levantas a la mañana siguiente tienes la sensación de haber descansado de verdad. Alfonso el propietario, un trato exquisito, siempre pendiente de nosotros de que no nos faltara nada y siempre asesorandonos de donde podiamos ir. Al principio antes de ir a la casa y estuve viendo los comentarios sobre alfonso me parecian exagerados, pero puedo decir que no es asi, como he dicho trato exquisito. Las excursiones que proponen son buenisimas. Pueblo muy tranquilo, cuesta ver gente por la calle. Conclusión, 100% recomendable.

Hemos ido un grupo de amigos a la casa rural aranatxe y la verdad que hemos salido encantados, porque la casa esta muy bien y lo tiene todo, la limpieza fenomenal y en general todo bueno. Nosotros hemos estado en muchas casas rurales pero en nuestra opinion de las mejores que hemos ido, Tambien comentar que el entorno es muy bonito y esta a 20 minutos del nacimiento del urederra. Nosotros iremos denuevo y repetiremos cuando podamos. Tambien tiene barbacoa y un salon de juegos y la ambilidad del dueño es muy buena. Os recomendamos a la gente que vaya porque la casa merece la pena. Hemos estado alojados desde el 18-03-2016 hasta 20-03-2016

Hemos estado el fin de semana en familia con niños y la verdad que nos ha encantado la casa, el entorno y el trato recibido. La casa tiene de todo y con la sala de juegos los niños han disfrutado. El trato ha sido muy cercano y el entorno es ideal para disfrutar de la sierra y hacer caminatas.

Finde maravilloso

Este fin de semana nos hemos alojado en esta maravillosa casa. No podría decir todo lo bueno que tiene porque seguro que me olvido de algo. Por resumir, destacar la comodidad, confort y calidez de la casa, la completa sala de juegos, la equipación de la casa puesta con todo tipo de detalle y el increíble entorno del que se rodea. Por último destacar sin duda el excelente trato de Alfonso y Nico, que han estado atentos en cada momento de que estuviéramos bien y no nos faltase nada. No dudaremos en volver cuando haga buen tiempo y probar esa barbacoa y ese jardín.
