“This was the most expensive stay in my trip to Arima Onsen, Kyoto and Osaka. Expectation was high. The start was good, the reception was nice, everything fine until the keiseki dinner. The first few courses were excellent. Then the quality if the following courses dropped. Waiting was long. We had ti sit for 20 minutes to have rice. Dessert was a joke, assorted fruits and ice cream had no traditional Japanese feeling. Not ended yet. When we returned to the room, the bed was not prepared as……

“The hotel is located in a wonderful location， Just few minutes walk to the Main Street at Arashiyama. Staff provide excellent services and all of them are very helpful. Dinner and breakfast is very healthy and delicious. Rooms and public onsen is very clean. Hotel rate is very reasonable. I am very satisfied with everything in this hotel and I will come back next time when I go to Arashiyama. ”

“Very nice authentic onsen hotel, conveniently located just next to the Togetsu-kyo bridge. Private bath in room is also nice and clean, food is good up to general onsen hotel standard, you can see food has been prepared with lots of thought.”
