“We regularly stay in and around crail but we Definitely would not recommend Mariners Retreat as there are plenty of other good properties in crail and the surrounding areas.When we arrived there were spiders on the ceilings, mould around the bedroom window and shower area that hadn’t been cleaned either.The outdoor seating area was so over grown we couldn’t sit there.We were only staying 2 nights in crail this time and didn’t continue our stay after we found a bug in one of the beds.( I will……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We made the mistake of renting a car. Not needed as everything is so close-golf, groceries, coffee, restaurants, pubs, shopping and bus.The flat is amazing. Handled our group of seven easily. Enjoyed the walking tour and took bus to fishing villages No need for guided tour. Hope we can return and look forward to being back at 7 Howard!!”

“This property should never have been let out. We were in the area for a larger family event and the whole week was overshadowed by the need to be dealing with the poor provision and the stress of unhelpful contact with the agency.No welcome pack No instructions so within a couple of hours we had to phone VRBO.There were damp marks on the ceiling. A bedroom door was broken and splintered. The garden was derelict. The kitchen had insufficient provision eg 3 forks and 5 mugs (for 6 people), no……

“Very pleasant stay. Loved the location. Very clean. Didn't get info on how to get keys. When i contacted the property manager the person who answered was quite pleasant and took a couple of minutes to get me the information i needed. Would highly recommend this property . When i return to st andrews I'll definitely check out this property again.”
