The location was excellent! We had a car and Hotel Minerva provided safe parking as well as a curbside luggage drop off/pick up area. The staff was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional, and the breakfast was 5 star!

Great place to stay and close to the Fiera

Clean, elegant feel. Centrally located, short 10 min drive/20 minute walk to the central area and fiera. Bed was comfy, room was quaint, but clean and well kept. Bar service was good and friendly.

The Hotel Minerva is one of my favorite places we stayed while touring Italy. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and enormous compared to most of the cities we visited, and it was only a 5ish minute cab ride to the train station. Close enough to the historical center that you can get to the churches and Medici fortress within 30-45 minutes at a leisurely pace. The included breakfast had many options, and I would recommend heading downstairs to the restaurant for at least one of your meals while in Arezzo though you may want to set a reservation during peak travel season since it seems many locals also enjoy the restaurant. Will definitely stay there again if we travel back to Arezzo in the future.

We booked this hotel for the 4 stars, unfortunately I would say this is a 4 star. Our room was dated and bathroom Was small, it smelt like cigarettes and we were overlooking a McDonald’s that was very busy and over the weekend extremely loud in to the early hours, we couldn’t have the window open due to the noise and the smell of grease. Windows open really wide and is a concern with a child. The bed was very firm and didn’t have a duvet but an old looking woollen blanket between two sheets. The location was great and lovely walk into the town, the parking was free and was plenty of it and the breakfast was nice. The hotel was very clean and the staff were nice, though we asked for things to our room ( which was a charge - and never arrived) There is also a charge for the TV and only one plug socket - none around the bed area

Well positioned hotel but disappointing experience

Well positioned about 15 minutes walk from the beautiful historic centre of Arezzo. Our room was clean and comfortable although we had an awful night’s sleep as the air conditioning system could not cope with the heat (in June - I would not wish to experience high summer heat at this hotel). As we had a busy day sightseeing we decided to eat at the onsite restaurant which was a mixed experience. Whilst the food and service were OK, the restaurant staff allowed a couple with a dog to sit at the table next to us (despite the hotel directory stating pets were NOT allowed in the restaurant or breakfast room). This was not an assistance dog and was not well behaved to the extent that whilst we were eating it jumped up at our table. The restaurant staff seemed more concerned with making a fuss of the dog and chatting with its owners than the fact that the dog was being a nuisance. We wouldn’t allow our dog to behave in this manner so we do not expect to be subjected to other’s misbehaving. Interestingly, at checkout this was the only hotel in our trip that did not ask whether our stay was OK. Perhaps they don’t care or want to hear of any negative feedback - if asked we would have given our feedback on the air conditioning and our restaurant experience.

Convenient for a short stay to discover Arezzo

An older type of building with interior an rooms kept in good condition. Room was spacious and clean. We were happy to find that the bed was equipped with a freshly covered quilt and not the infamous woollen blanket or bedcover which is often found in hotels. The breakfast was rich and complete charged € 6.-- p.p.. Free parking is available. The city centre can be reached in 20 minutes walking. The concierge gave us a hint to find free parking just below the cathedral. WIFI was working reliably.
