Wonderful Stay at Dollhouse

We had a great stay! Location was excellent and the house was exactly what we had hoped for. We couldn't figure out how to use the wood burning stove but otherwise it was an amazing stay. We will book again.

Dollhouse a good find despite a few inconveniences

Our kids loved this cabin, and we'll likely book again. It's the perfect amount of space for our family of five with three kids under nine. It's a short drive to Snowflake Lodge, which is a family favorite. There were some annoyances though, like the upstairs AC not working well enough, the washing machine not dissolving the provided pod while running, and a few beetles and other bugs not vacuumed up (especially around the slider door). But all in all, these few inconveniences didn't overshadow our lovely time.

Great house, needs better management

Vacasa isn’t a great management company—it’s the first time I stayed at a house that didn’t even have salt. their selfie verification system is wonky which means it didn’t work so they told me they were cancelling my reservation but then when I called they were able to use normal credit card verification. The house itself is sweet, kids loved the twin beds on the landing

Very nice location- blue lake springs

We enjoyed the stay here at the Dollhouse. The Blue Lake Springs area, which was new to us since we love going to lake mont pines.We went to the bear valley ski resort and it was a beautiful short drive up there. I loved that we were so close to Big Trees State Park, love going there!! It was a wonderful location . This cabin was very spacious and the kitchen was great, loved the dinner table. The bottom bedroom was a too dark, not enough lighting, and bette blankets would be nice, the upstair loft was nice with the two beds, although upstairs felt cold. Overall the location was wonderful and the house was great. And you have to but you own wood. Not to happy that you will need to buy wood for the wood stove, who wants to carry logs in there car.??!! Overall we did enjoy the cabin.

Wonderful stay at the Dollhouse!

The house was clean and the team was responsive when we reached out. As others mentioned, it can get really hot upstairs, but luckily we had cool nights. There are fans and backup AC units as well. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely book there again.

Very nicely appointed and clean cabin. Nice layout with open kitchen, dining and patio areas. We had a few minor issues that were resolved very quickly by the local Vacasa team.

Nice cabin, ideally located

The cabin has a pleasant layout. Ideally located, not too far from the highway (in Arnold, sometimes you have to climb for a while to reach the cabin, this one was great). It was clean, warm and everything worked. We took advantage of the fire stove but the central heating was definitely enough.

Cosy house but with AC problem

Good location. Cozy interior. Well equipped kitchen. Be aware that AC on top floor doesn't work. It will get very hot up there in the summer. It won't be possible to sleep up there until the AC is fixed.

We enjoyed staying at the Dollhouse, the house was spotless, kitchen was well stocked, very cute and cozy. It is warm upstairs, but if you turn on the fans and open the windows in the evening, it does cool down.

Room for Improvement

We were very happy with the cleanliness of the house, it was very clean and well taken care of. The location and neighborhood is perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed. However, when we arrived, the upstairs (which sleeps 4 more people) was probably 20 degrees hotter than the downstairs. The air conditioning worked well downstairs but upstairs there is no way anyone could have stayed up there with warmer daytime temperatures (summertime). The garbage disposal was back flowing, the shower water temperature was very cold and the beds were very uncomfortable. If these things were fixed we would definitely stay again. But for the price some things definitely need to be improved.
