「We stayed in The Giardinetto for two nights at the end of July. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good if a bit chaotic due to the large number of guests being there at the same time. 「The hotel is in a lovely location on Lake Orta, within close proximity to Orta San Giulio. However, the hotel itself is looking rather shabby and is in need of a makeover. The rooms are a good size, but the air conditioning is extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep with it switched on. Unfortunately, without the air conditioning, the rooms become uncomfortably hot. The hotel was reasonably clean.
