“Just a few minutes outside of Wausau, the house sits on a large, peaceful plot of land far enough away from everything, but not too far. “This was a wonderful large house where we stayed while our grandsons enjoyed skiing at Granite Peak. It was fabulous to have the lake right there as we built campfires and had hotdogs and s’mores!! It made the trip even more special!”

The check-in process was quick and easy and the dogs were running around the huge fully fenced in yard within minutes of our arrival. The neighborhood was great for walking the dogs and scenic for us, with the pond just down at the end if the road. The backyard had a real nice grill, fire pit, and patio area. “The Rapids Rustic Retreat is a Beautiful House. We were there for 3 nights. There is Plenty of room for everyone to be together to either watch the game, or play games or just sit and talk.”

“We have stayed in many VRBO's and I cannot remember a rental being as perfect as this one was! We wanted a lake house to go fishing and boy did this accommodate that to the fullest. First off, the house was stocked better than our own home that we live in and they had everything we could ever need and more. The pontoon boat, fishing dock, and backyard were perfect. “This is a fantastic location for a large group ski vacation. The air hockey, darts, arcade games and darts were perfect for after a day of skiing. So much space for people to spread out and do different things, all in the same home. The hosts responded quickly to all of my questions. Definitely recommend!”
