Experience peacefulness in our country home just minutes from all the attractions of Asheville! Set on 2 acres, our property immerses you in nature with two decks for outdoor living. Perfect for families or large groups, we provide multiple areas for gathering. Parents or couples will appreciate the privacy afforded by our 4bd/3.5ba's, while kids will enjoy the ample outdoor space to run and play. Take in the city's food scene or the outdoor activities of West NC, and then relax in serenity!

The space

Unique to our property – you will find paved roads combined with country privacy – no 4WD required here! As you turn into the driveway, you will descend ever so slightly into a large, wide paved driveway that connects to the side of the house. We have ample parking for your group.

After parking, you will walk up the stairs to the right, to the front of the home, and onto our large front porch. On the porch, you'll be greeted by a seating area with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the outdoor air.

Enter through the front door, and you will find yourself in our main living space with beautiful hardwood floors.

LIVING ROOM:

The living room has two seating areas. The first seating area is centered around the fireplace and has comfy seating for 5+ in armchairs and a sofa. Please note that the fireplace is not currently in use at this time.

The second seating area is centered around the TV with two leather recliner chairs and a leather sofa. Our large smart TV comes equipped with Roku – bring your logins and enjoy any app! Finally, we love to provide a space for families and groups to connect over more than just technology, so we equip our living room with a guitar and two ukuleles. Our guests love to laugh and have fun together while trying out the musical instruments, and we are sure you will too.

Just off the living room is a bathroom in the hallway that leads to the kitchen and dining area.

KITCHEN:

The hardwood floors continue into our modern and updated kitchen. Not only is our kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and white cabinets, great to look at, but it is also fully functional! Guests who cook enjoy our fully equipped kitchen; we are confident you will too! We provide all the basic amenities such as pots and pans, baking supplies, a toaster, dinnerware, and more. We also go above and beyond by providing a Kangen Alkaline water station and stand mixer.

The dining room has seating for 6 in a well-lit space with plenty of windows for nature viewing. At the other end of the kitchen sits the breakfast nook and French doors that lead to the outdoor patio.

MASTER BEDROOM:

The huge master bedroom features a king bed with a Ghostbed memory foam mattress. We are sure this extra comfy mattress will be a hit with you! The bedroom has a large Smart TV (bring your login!) and a separate space for yoga, meditation, or mindfulness practices. Essentials for yoga are provided for your use and stored in the master closet.

The en-suite bathroom provides double sink vanity and shower/tub combo to make getting ready easy.

OTHER BEDROOMS AND BATHROOM:

We have three other bedrooms, each fully equipped for a comfortable experience. Bedrooms 2 and 3 each feature a queen bed and large closet with a shared full bathroom in the hallway in between.

Bedroom 4 is in the finished basement and features a queen bed. A 5th bed is in the game room space in the basement, with a door separating it from bedroom 4. The game room contains numerous board games for family fun. This 5th bed/game room is attached to the laundry room area. Please note that the basement has no air conditioning, but it stays relaxed and comfortable year-round. We do provide infrared heaters in both basement rooms with thermostats. A half bath is available in the basement as well.


OUTDOOR SPACE:

The back deck, accessible from the kitchen area, is a favorite spot for gathering. You will love the intimacy of the gas firepit in the center of the seating area. Feel free to grill a hot meal on the propane grill (propane provided!). Enjoy an evening glass of wine or a full meal in the tranquility of nature with views of the trees and mountains beyond.

✔We keep a first aid kit in the kitchen for minor cuts and scrapes.

✔ We provide premium linens for each guest.

✔ We provide essential paper goods and consumables - paper towels, tissues, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, dish soap, and sponges.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire property except for the garage space.

You will enter the home via keypad with a code provided at check-in.

As this is the woods of Western NC, there is always the possibility of bears in the area, especially at night. They are curious, so we request you not leave any food or drink out overnight.

**Important**
Please make sure you read and comply with these rules:

-NO SMOKING OR VAPING IN THE HOME AT ALL or on the property.
-No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
-NO Excessive guests. Only registered guests are allowed to stay on the property overnight.
-NO Mailing Packages to the home.
-NO PARTYING or Events of any kind inside or on the property.
-NO PETS ALLOWED OF ANY KIND. We try to keep the house hypoallergenic for future guests that might have allergies.

-We love our neighbors and ask that you please respect the community. Noise level MUST BE MINIMAL after 10PM! There is a noise level county ordinance. We do not want complaints! Violation of the noise/party rule could result in the police being called, termination of your reservation, and the security deposit retained. We must respect the peace of the community! Thank you.

**Fire Pit Safety**
-Never leave fire unattended
-Ensure fire is completely out before leaving or going to bed.
-Extra Propane is available on request.

**PENALTIES FOR THE FOLLOWING**
Held against security deposit and claim will be filed with Airbnb.
**Stolen property: At cost of the stolen property.
**Smoking in the home: $250 or More, dependent on cost to clean.
**Lost Keys: $50 to rekey
**Late Checkout Past 10am without our consent. $75
**Excessive Guests than reservation. $50 per guest or Cancellation of Reservation without Refund.
**Excessive Cleaning if the place is left filthy with trash everywhere. $150
**PETS: Cancellation of Reservation without Refund.

**You must also acknowledge**

Amenity limitations- We provide two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, two rolls of paper towels, and two garbage bags for each bin. More can be provided for longer stays, and may have a charge associated. If you need more, please ask and we will try to accommodate you.

Please only flush toilet paper and NOTHING else. If the sewer clogs during your stay, a fee will be assessed to have a plumber come and make repairs.

The ring camera is for the protection of our property and is not actively monitored. It also provides you, the guest, security and additional availability to contact us. There are no cameras inside the home.

We have raised two children in this home and it is very fun for families. Please note the stairs throughout the house are not gated so infants should be monitored when they are upstairs.
