“I booked the apartment because it was the only one with 2 single beds on Expedia website, unfortunately it wasn’t when we got there. I didn’t see the small print about leaving a deposit (£150) when I paid for the 2 nights on Expedia app. The apartment was okay clean, but scratches on walls, doors and refrigerator, and I had to take videos as evidence just to avoid getting claims from the management, the boiler didn’t work so I read through the instructions to reboot it just to get hot water. ……

“My wife and I stayed for two nights for our friends’ wedding in Whitley bay. Great seafront location and a lovely view. Perfect for our stay. Good communication from the host, easy to access, clean and nice apartment.”

“Nicely done out. A couple of issues in terms of equipment - only one mug so we had to go out and buy one the following day. Also no potato peeler, cafetière (coffee machine needed capsules which are more expensive to buy). The outdoor area could have been made more attractive. The alley at the back was full of rubbish. Other minor cosmetic issues included missing tiles under the bathroom sink, and scuffs on……

“Where to start, it was cheaper than most places in Newcastle but still wasn't worth what we paid. No air-conditioning, the kitchen drain smelled terrible, the toilet leaked, there were toenails in the bathroom, originally put in a two bedded room when there was 3 of us, very hot stuffy room, unable to open window properly as there was a chain lock preventing us. Beds were clean and fairly comfy.”

“Great, clean room. Check in was easy. Vee made everything simple. Great location. I'll definitely be back.”
