“We had a fantastic stay at Epavlis Meteora Suites during our time in Greece! The owners, Spyros and Mary, were really friendly and made us feel at home, welcoming us with cherries from their tree. The property is really well kept with great views of the Meteora rocks on one side and Kalabaka/plain of Thessaly on the other. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was also great - homemade with local ingredients. Bear in mind that the hotel is located up a steep(ish) hill……

“This property is a well situated. It's just close to everything. It's clean and well kept. There is no dryer for clothes in the apartment. But they do have a drying rack in the back.”

The house indeed had a majestic view, with even an attached sun room/lounge near the entrance where we could sit and watch the sun rise over the rock formations. Nikolaus was also a wonderful and helpful host. He only spoke Greek and we only spoke English - but all was well with Google Translate. We would definitely recommend this to a group of friends or family!”

“Our first impression was that the vrbo site doesn't do it any justice! It may be small in places, but it had plenty of room for my wife and I. I was impressed with the look and workability. We took advantage of the back patio. Bed was firm and very comfy! The location was great because it was away from the noise of the tourists and traffic of Kalabaka. But it was only blocks away. We got a great restaurant recommendation from the manager and enjoyed the view of the rocks at night. The area is……

“We had an amazing time staying in Kalabaka at the Rock and Stone. It was easy to find, easy to access and beautiful yard to sit and enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks looking into a small gouge. The short walk down into downtown gave us ample cat sightings and more than enough choices of excellent food. The monasteries are a must!!!”

“Beautiful whole house. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Only problem is finding it. Like everywhere in Greece we found no street signs and no house numbers. Make sure you have a photo of this house. ”
