「Very nice charming home. Enjoyed our stay. Joe and Bill were there to greet us and there when we said goodbye. :) Looking forward to staying there again. Thank you kindly.」

「Loved this house! It was so homey, cozy and plenty of beds and rooms for everyone. Great communication and easy check-in as well! Would stay here again. Stayed here for an ultra race and was perfect!」

「The property was clean and had all the amenities that we were looking for」

「The property was pretty clean but could use a little maintenance-landscape needed weeding, crack in interior wall, jet tub. The beds were comfortable but chairs in sitting are were not. There was a nice variety of light breakfast choices but bottled water and ice would have been nice because the weather was so hot. Also, we had to keep adjusting the ac as it didn’t keep up. Finally, there was a cigarette smell periodically, perhaps coming through vents from basement apartment.」

「Great old style place. The furnishings and decorations are well done , they perfectly fit the style. It’s a neat snapshot of history with the creaky floors and old school fixtures, and it would definitely be a place we would stay again.」

「My stay was great! Check in and out were easy. David provided clear instructions for both. Made things easy. He was great about answering any questions that I had. I can't recommend this location enough!」

「Location was great, just off 29 and 36. Furniture and bedrooms were great and clean.Should really have more things towels for kitchen and bathroom. We took pictures and a video because of the cleaning rules.Trying to help others be prepared.」

「Nice roomy space. We enjoyed the space and the full kitchen was such a plus.」

「Nice clean home. Easy to find and access it felt safe.」

「Fun, quirky house. We grew up in the 70's so we LOVED it. Only there overnight for a football game. Did no cooking so can't comment on kitchen.」

「We came into town from Ohio for a family reunion. This house was perfect for my children to have a Kansas experience. The host was very easy to communicate with and welcomed us with fresh farm eggs and corn. The house was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We even used the grill. I really enjoyed sitting outside both mornings and nights and listening to nature. We are planning on coming back next year.」

「I loved the basement retreat it was clean very private and quiet. You have everything you need . The check in was easy and the host is good at answering your needs. I loved the two bedrooms with a queen bed both very comfy. You might know I gave 4 out of 5 stars but I never give a as always room for changes. I will stay again」

「Really expected more from the pictures & reviews. The most accurate review was the 4/10. The property was overall dirty. The microwave handle was broken & the other place to open it was sticky. The floors looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time & several spots were extremely sloped. The linens didn't smell fresh. There was animal hair on the couches & exposed nails on one of the arms. The steps to upstairs were dangerous, one step was broken & the light at the top of them...

「Host were very responsive and quick to help. Perfect for my family for a quick visit with my son in college. The only thing I wish is there were more pots and pans to cook with to host better for a full home. Also if there was a grill. But besides that it was nice and clean and comfortable for my family and I.」

「Upon arrival, it appeared that the kitchen had not been cleaned at all. We had to wipe down the interior of the refrigerator and freezer before using. There were also multiple perishable food items left behind. We also noed a torn shower curtain. When we contacted the property manager, the only response was thanks for letting me know. 」

「Good location and quiet neighborhood. House was large and plenty of room to stretch out. Beds were OK and water pressure was good. TVs in all the rooms.」
