Property was in a bad area, my family and I did not want to walk around at night so we never got to see the city at night or have a regular timed dinner. Neighbors would tell us to be very careful as we are a group of girls, and that it was a very rough area.

Please Read! We stayed here based on the attractive price as well as previous review of the apartments. We thought it would be a great place to stay with my partner being lactose intolerant, meaning we are able to cook our own meals. How wrong we were. The streets were filled with litter and the walls covered in graffiti. We had seen in previous review that people had mentioned the area being a bit “up and coming” but do not be fooled. It’s awful. When we arrived at the apartments the outside of the building was semi derelict, with the one across the road being even worse having smashed windows and being an absolute eyesore. The whole area felt UNSAFE. To the apartments credit, the room was well thought out and nicely appointed, although we had little time to really get settled in as the loud music playing in the street, loud banging noises and the run down nature of the area caused us to immediately look for a new hotel. We were unable to get our money back, despite being in the room for less than an hour, as the owner claimed that they had informed us of ‘on going building works’ that were taking place outside of the building. The issues we faced had nothing to do with the building works as on the day we arrived no one was working. Athens proved to be an incredible city. My advice, don’t save money and stay here. If you can, spend a little bit more and get yourself in a nice hotel in a far safer area.

The great and the not so great

We were very nervous when we saw the outside. Street closed had to lug suitcases from corner sidewalks dangerous. Looked like a very bad area. But once inside everything was lovely freshly renovated. Urban renewal going on. I still would not go out at might though.

Hidden Gem!

In all honesty, this place is a gem! Don't be intimidated by the general area and the state of the building, give it a try and you won't regret it. Room: The rooms have been recently renovated and are clean and tidy. It was a very comfortable stay. Just a heads up, the bathroom's see-through but it's okay. Distance: You are within a 5-minute walking distance to tourist areas such as the Monasteriki Square and food hubs. You can walk to and from the Acropolis comfortably (15-min walk). Safety: Our taxi driver informed us that our location is unsafe and that made us almost move but we gave it a try and we're grateful we stayed and didn't listen to hearsay. The area is safe as a lot of tourists are there too. Staff: Great communication, polite staff, and very accommodating people. Overall, 10/10 and we'll be more than happy to come back and stay at the same location again!

The apartment is clean, modern, and equipped with all the appliances that you might need for your stay. I didn’t see the manager, however, they sent us all the information we needed for our stay. All in all I recommend this place and the location is great, it’s close to everything.

Property itself was great, plenty of space, very clean and modern. Communication great for directions & check in/out details. Signage for property small which made it a bit confusing especially arriving in the dark. Close to metro which was great but once outside the main square area (at night) I felt unsafe walking it on my own.

The apartment is little gem hidden in a bad neighborhood. Close to restaurants, shops, agora, etc. The place itself was superb, we loved our stay there.

Stay away from Danger

The location of these apartments was in a clear dangerous area of the city. We could not stay. The place was full of graffiti. We witnessed criminal activity and some police response. Our taxi driver and several other sources alerted us of the danger we were facing. The street was all open up with heavy machinery that made the access to the apartment entrance quite impossible. Refrain from booking this place! We had to book other hotels for our stay.

The hotel floor and the rooms were impeccable - modern, super clean and comfortable. Price is terrific, and centrally located to so much fun. Communication regarding any needs was superb. The one downside is the building the hotel floor is located in (looks deserted, broken exterior window), and the area. The streets surrounding are uncomfortable to be out on at night. It’s the old theatre district that they are trying to rebuild, but it’s not quite there yet.
