The property was in poor repair. The room shook every time someone went in or out of the entrance door near my room. Garbage was all over the ground in front of the entrance door I had to go into (overflowing garbage can). People smoking pot in the entry way, the smell seeped into my room. I asked for a different room and had to pay more money.

Woke up to cockroaches in our room. Incredibly rude staff that didn’t seem phased by this. Dirty toilet and broken floor boards.

The room was very clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, which made for a positive experience overall. That said, this is an older hotel that could really benefit from renovations. It does seem like they are making some efforts, particularly with the flooring, which is appreciated. The pool itself was in good condition, but the hot tub appeared quite dirty. It may have been rust stains from the pipes above, but regardless, it didn’t give a clean impression. The entire pool area is in need of a full renovation. The fitness room looked nice at first glance, but unfortunately the treadmill was not functioning properly. It would turn on, but once a speed was selected, it could not be adjusted. This is a safety concern and should be repaired or replaced as soon as possible. With that said for an overnight stay it was very worth the price.

While they have recently renewed flooring in halls and rooms, overall general condition is average. Beds comfortable and everything worked as expected. Being a college town with several other hotels in the area, they are average, compared to Hampton and Holiday Inn for example. In town for Ohio basketball game and while they all inflate rates when they can, the price while reasonable compared to others, still not justified. Breakfast ended at 9:30 on a weekend, prefer 10 or 10:30, especially after a late night game. It’s a room, OK, but more expensive that it should be.

Check in and parking were both easy. My husband is in a wheelchair because he just had surgery and the hotel was not very wheelchair accessible. We struggled to get into the lobby to check in and we were put in a room where our parking lot entrance had no ramp to get him in and out. I had to pick up the wheelchair onto the sidewalk, which wasn’t ideal. Other than that we had a good stay. The room was clean and comfortable, working ac and heat. There is a gym and a washer and dryer on site as well as an indoor pool (we didn’t utilize any of these)

The room was nice. Your staff was great! We have stayed there a couple of times before as we have grandkids in the area & the love using the pool. I know you are aware of the floors & there are notices posted saying you would be fixing them soon. They can be a tripping hazard & it is a safety issue. Thx, for a pleasant stay. We'll be back!
