Excellent staff and a hearty breakfast. Close to everything in Athlone and a lovely view. We had some bad luck with a delayed check-in (room wasn't ready by 3pm), our bathroom sink was broken and it needed to be fixed, and we had to have our mattress flipped over due to an uncomfortable exposed spring. The staff were very apologetic and did their best to help us. They offered us a free drink at the bar for all the trouble. Hot tip: Ask for extra pillows!

Great location, very clean and staff friendly and helpful, pillows and beds very soft not enough support for a good night sleep if you have back or hip issues, room was nice with a beautiful view, restaurant had good food and service. Overall would stay here again but ask for extra bed pad to make a little firmer.

Close downtown to the core everything was walkable. I didn’t drive my car for two days and went on a cruise down to the Shannon River that was fun too and the oldest bar in Ireland 900 A.D. Sean‘s also went to a casino that was a hoot old style machines and a few new ones I actually won money. Great food choices and numerous cafes The breakfast included was stellar lots of variety and great coffee and juice too 5 star 🌟 out of 5 highly recommended

We stayed for one night in a family room. The hotel’s location is excellent, and the property appeared clean and well maintained throughout. The staff were polite, friendly, and very helpful. There is an APCOA car park on site, and the hotel provides complimentary parking there, which was a great bonus. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, so we can’t comment on the food. We visited during an unusually hot week and were allocated a room on the top floor. As there is no air conditioning, the room became quite warm, and we definitely felt its absence. With increasingly hot summers, air conditioning—particularly in the top-floor rooms—would be a valuable addition for guests’ comfort. A table fan was provided, although it was quite dusty when it arrived. After I mentioned this to reception, the staff cleaned it promptly, which we appreciated.
