“Susan Jeff are obviously seasoned and experienced hosts. Their impeccable attention to details is amazing! Susan greeted us Briefly and warmly, and then left us to ourselves. The apartment in their home in a newer, upscale development was very clean and spacious. They had left us little gifts each day and a helpful binder with suggestions for local restaurants and things to do. Very quiet neighborhood, but 5-10 minutes away from restaurants and shopping.”

“What a lovely cottage. Close to everything, but tucked away from the busy streets. Lovely landscaping around the property. Beautifully furnished. Comfy bed is always important & that it was. Nice facing sofas for chatting and chilling after a long day of hiking. Bookcase holds fascinating books. Kitchenette has all you need to make your stay comfortable. “Anchor Loft was meticulously maintained, extremely comfortable and provided great views of Casco Bay. Great location: walkable to Little John Preserve, easy bike ride to the Ferry / Chebeague Island, and quick drive into Portland or Freeport. Paul was helpful and very responsive in supporting our use of the bikes and kayaks provided with the unit. Very enjoyable and relaxing stay on Little John Island!!”

“I thought the property was very nice. It was modern, wax clean, was well equipped in kitchen accept for a few bowls for a large salad and rice. I liked it very much. I would recommend to anyone for a stay. It was spacious, couch area was large and had a nice porch to relax on. Overall no complaints👍”

“This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.”
