Excellent value for money. Would definitely stay there again. It’s mid winter here and they had lots of spare blankets but the heating worked really well also.

The only issue I have is that the property asks you to write down your credit / debit card details on the registration card - it's ok to put it straight onto the PMS, but writing it down on a piece of paper goes against every single insurance policy the banks have. I've said this to them last year February - one-and-half years later, they still do it. This has stopped at hotels now over a decade ago. Get on with the times, it's time for an update.

This is a gem of a hotel. The rooms are as described. Basic but very comfortable and well located in a nice part of town. The attached restaurant is excellent, charming and reasonably priced. From the outset, it is obvious that the staff work as a team and go beyond in making one’s stay or visit to the restaurant really pleasant. Will definitely stay again.

The staff were amazing. We arrived early as we had a funeral to attend. The young lady changed our room so we could get changed . Much appreciated. The restaurant was fantastic and the food wonderful. Looking really awesome. The room was clean and tidy, good size for us. The bathroom was old and in need of a dose of exit mould maybe. That was our only complaint, and only a small one. Overall ,it was a lovely stay.

I only stayed for one night and didn't need to partake of all the facilities. The room was clean and servicable, but the buildings are getting older and some refurb would be good.
