Detached old house with electric heating and wood heating included.
Ground floor: living room with stove and equipped kitchen.
Middle floor: lounge (comfortable sofa bed, TV), shower room with toilet.
Upstairs: bedroom (double bed 140 x 190 cm, baby bed), bedroom (double bed 160 x 200 cm, two single beds 90 x 190 cm), separate toilet. Bed linens, towels, and household linens are provided.
A dormitory room is available for 1 or 2 nights maximum (extra charge) with external access: double sofa bed and three single beds, including one bunk bed: €75 excluding linens.
Community hall in the village.
Private enclosed garden adjoining the owners' garden. Bicycle storage. Small chicken coop with farmyard birds adjoining the back of the cottage. Pets (dogs and cats) are welcome, however the owners have four very friendly ones. The Orne River, one of the most important Norman rivers, has its source just a stone's throw from the cottage... hence its name given by Stéphanie and Johann, who largely restored this pretty barn on their property themselves until summer 2021. You can admire the chickens and roosters in the farmyard through the kitchen window and recycle your household waste at the same time.
Located in the countryside, at the edge of the village, you will enjoy the proximity of the Petite Cité de Caractère de Sées (4 km), rich in a thousand-year-old historical heritage (cathedral with concerts and Musilumières shows in summer) with its shops and services. Also worth a visit are the "Rustik" medieval fantasy adventure and immersion park (7 km), the Ecouves animal park (11 km), and, of course, the unmissable Haras national du Pin, "le Versailles du Cheval" (18 km).
