“You cannot stay any closer to the Winslow Hill Elk Observation area. Wonderfully comfortable and rustic at the same time. Made good use of the grill. The deer were often in the backyard and morning was filled with bird song. Great getaway opportunity and easy to set up.”

“We really enjoyed our stay in Ulysses! The cabin was the perfect size for the 4 of us and the dog. The only (minor) downside was the proximity to U.S. 6. Sitting outside by the fire got a little noisy at times with the trucks going by, but we would definitely book this again!”

“The cabin was very clean and cozy! Perfect place to unplug, see the stars, and connect with nature. Very close to Cherry Springs, but the stars were equally as magnificent from the cabin. Our second day was pretty overcast, so we took an hour drive to Kinzua Bridge State Park, which was really cool as well. The accommodations and experience exceeded our expectations!”

“My family and I had a weekend getaway here. We enjoyed the house, the board games, and exploring the property. If you’re in need of some relaxation and quiet this is a great place to do it. The driveway is very long, just keep going, you’ll get there. The Austin dam is minutes down the road, the Potter County Pub is 10 minute drive and a great place for food and drinks.”

“Excellent Property. Excellent Logistics-very close to PA Grand Canyon and fishing Darling Run. Property was in excellent shape and offered the group the most relaxing and tranquil stay. Joe provided open communication throughout the process and was an excellent host! We have stayed in other lodges but the “Octagon” by far has been one of our best stays!!!”

“The tree house was unique and was great for a few days stay. Though it would have been helpful to know ahead of time in the on-line description that the water in not potable. The owners collect rainwater so it's not intended for consumption. Next, communication with the property manager through Vrbo email was a bit difficult...when I initially reserved the property I checked off how many children and their ages. This manager reached out a couple days prior saying the tree house is not……

“I was very impressed with the cleanliness, not only with the cabin itself but all the dishes, pots and pans ; silverware; glasses (I’m very fussy when it comes to cleanliness). We probably spent most of our time sitting on the porch, we loved the privacy. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to go back!”

“House was great including location there was on issue. The split unit in master bedroom sounded like a diesel truck running all night long. All in all beautiful place.”

“Overall it was an outstanding place to stay. The only thing I didn't realize is there is only salt and pepper so if you need any spices, cooking spray, sugar packets ect, bring them along. We will return. Really enjoyed the front porch and down by the creek.”
