"The hot tub is not functional. I pick a hotel with a hot tub as the main point. No hot tub, I don't stay there. The hot tub at this hotel is a kiddie pool now. It no longer functions as a hot tub."

"I am writing to formally document a deeply disappointing and unacceptable experience at Aloft Katy Mills on **June 2 at approximately 10:50 PM**. I booked **two rooms at approximately 5:00 PM** the same day and arrived later that evening expecting a standard and professional check-in process. I have stayed at this property before, which makes this experience even more concerning. Upon entering the hotel, the front desk representative immediately stated, in a dismissive and unprofessional manner, that the hotel was sold out. When I explained that I had booked two rooms several hours earlier, she repeatedly stated that Marriott had overbooked the property. As a guest with a confirmed reservation, that explanation was unacceptable without proper clarification, accountability, or any attempt to assist. After I provided my last name, her explanation changed completely. She then stated that we would have to wait because the rooms still needed to be cleaned. This sudden change in explanation created serious concern regarding the accuracy, transparency, and handling of our reservation. When I questioned the situation further, especially since we had booked **two rooms**, her tone became increasingly rude and dismissive. When my friend asked how long the wait would be, she responded loudly and stated that she did not know. There was no apology, no professionalism, no estimated timeline, and no meaningful attempt to resolve the issue. At that point, we felt extremel"

"Hello 👋, We stayed May 29th May 30th we had a two and half Hour drive to Katy Mills TX. Check in was easy the deal we originally had was I believe for 1 room 2 queens around $200.00 ish dollars when we got there I asked what floor we were on she said the 4th floor so with Expedia deals sometimes you get the higher level if floors 3rd or 4th floor I was not pleased with that since we just drive 2 1/2 hours from San Antonio Tx the kids were ready to play and so I asked if we had a lower floor available and they has 2nd floor available mind you it was about another hundred to transfer rooms. Then we found out the pool was closed there for a good chunk of the day. After unpacking we decided to do dinner of the amenities that were arrived the hotel, love the location for that with a mall right there and we have never been to a mall before. amenities were fun for all ages and adults too.We came back to the hotel later that evening and the pool was open again so they only got to play for 30 minutes and the pool water was FREEZING COLD!!! They do not have the pool heater at this hotel. Overall the room was okay we had room 422 so if you stay in that room double check the phone line and the phone always range busy and I always had to go up down up down to the front desk if I needed something,They also never did a room clean while we were out of the hotel would’ve been nice to have trash bags in the room to change out the small trash cans. Watch out for poop in the elevators."

"The first room smelled like dogs a lot of scratches on the furniture the next room we had to be moved to was very nice and smelled very nice .. the young man at the front desk was so awesome he even had a gift bag for my daughters birthday very amazing customer service he had . He is the reason I’m giving the 4 stars …. The cook for breakfast. Very unprofessional he came out in his muscle shirt very rude literally there was no breakfast and he only brought out 2 plates so unprofessional .. and very embarrassing as people were wondering where breakfast was and saw none so disappointed …walking around in muscle shirts instead of a uniform is not okay ..other than that it was an okay stay … need motivated staff 👍 oh and also the. Bathtubs horrible drainage and literally had to beg for towels"

"This is a fabulous place to stay for a horse show. The laundry facilities required quarters, but the front desk staff readily provided them in exchange for the cash we had. The nearby restaurants were great, the parking was easy & safe and the room was clean & comfortable."
