Maison de Noble Nicolas - Jules

Now back in use as a main residence, the house, built by the canon Noble Nicolas in 1530 and now the home of the owners, is built with the remains of the feudal town. The House of Noble Nicolas comprises two 16th-century dwellings. Situated on the ramparts in Avallon's very quiet historic quarter, this ancient garden offers panoramic views over the Morvan. The Jules room (40 m²) is located on the ground floor of the turret house. It has a double bed (160cm wide) and a large renovated shower room. Lounge area and sofa bed (double bed available on request). A full breakfast (bread, cereals, dairy products, home-made jam, fruit, etc.) is served in the Host dining room. The decoration combines objects from the past with the comfort of a complete renovation.
