No Golf Cart is provided with this property. No parties/events allowed at this home.

This Catalina Vacation Home has breathtaking views throughout the property. Please do note it is not ADA Accessible. There are approximately 50 steps up from street to reach 1st Level Entrance. Please see photos of stairs.


New for 2024 we have HVAC to all rooms. One of the few homes to provide Air Conditioning

The unit has the highest speed internet you can get on the island averaging around 80mbps down / 7mbps up with Netgear Orbi Wifi Throughout. Wired connection is available in Living Room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with Granite Counters, Seating for Six, Keurig Coffee and Drip Coffee Carafe, Microwave, Gas Stove/Oven, Dishwasher, Ice-maker in Freezer, and Cooking/Baking Supplies. All areas of living room and kitchen have an incredible view.

The living room has comfortable couch with seating for Six, Electric Duraflame Fireplace, and a 65" Samsung Smart TV with Samsung TV Plus, Netflix, Hulu, CBS All Access, & Disney+. There is also a pull-out Twin Bed.

From the living room & kitchen there is a Bedroom with an Ensuite Full Bath. The bedroom has a Queen Bed, Pull-out Twin Bed, and a Desk.

Outside the living room and bedroom is a large patio with outdoor dining with LED Lighted Umbrella (useful in evenings as well as day), Natural Gas Hard Lined Webber Spirit 310 BBQ (no worries on Propane tanks being empty), and comfortable seating with love seats and captain chairs.

Up the spiral staircase is the master bedroom with tall ceiling, a California King Bed, Smart 50" TV with TV Apps, Dresser and French Patio Doors. Master Bedroom has the best view in the house with a large picture window. The master bathroom has dual sinks, shower and a two person large jetted tub with a Bay Window. The master bedroom also has a twin bed and an option for a Queen Blowup. Please note the inside spiral staircase is tight. We recommend moving items up to master bedroom using the exterior staircase when possible. The patio outside the master bedroom has comfortable seating for four.

This property is about two blocks from the water. It's about a 5-7 minute walk from the beach to stairs of property. No golf cart is provided with this property; but everything is in walking distance. There is one outside security camera at our main entry.

Great views. Beautiful main suite. Close to restaurants and town. Loved the sunk in tub. Plenty of towels and paper products.Only negative was the walk to the place. Their neighbor has the most unappealing hoarding area that smells like pee when it rains.

We were very happy with our stay. It’s a beautiful place and had plenty of space for our family. It was centrally located and we were able to walk to wherever we wanted to go. Communication with host was easy and quick. We wanted to check in a little early and Steve was very accommodating. We were also able to bring our pet , which was a definite plus. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful View

We enjoyed our stay. We fell in love with the view. Enjoyed the two patios and the master bedroom was spacious. It was a perfect setting for our group of five. Everyone slept well and when gathered in the kitchen and living room we felt cozy. Beautiful place, I would love to stay again in the future.

Charming with great views!

Once you got to the property, the inside was beautiful! Two great bedrooms and the view from the master bedroom jacuzzi bathtub was stunning, especially at night. The kitchen was well appointed with lots of pots and pans, plates and silverware etc. It was very clean and welcoming. The only two things I would mention is the fact that the master bed was super comfy, but the other bed needs a topper to make it not quite as firm. The second thing I would mention is that it’s about a 3 block walk uphill, and then another 52 steps up to the top level, so if you’re overweight and out of shape, this is not the place for you…… additionally there’s a very skinny spiral staircase that goes up to the master bedroom that would not accommodate someone very overweight. Luckily, we are a skinny family, in good shape, so it was perfect for us!

This place is wonderful. Each bedroom has its own bathroom so it's very private if you are traveling with someone else. It's quiet and the views from the living room and upstairs bedroom are just beautiful. There's everything you need in the kitchen and it's an easy walk to town if you want to eat out. Can't wait to stay here again. Thank you!

Catalina Heights!

We couldn’t get enough of hanging out on the deck enjoying the heights above Avalon. The kitchen is WELL equipped and we enjoyed eating in each night. Lots of space and comfortable sleeping - Steven was on top of making our stay convenient and enjoyable!

Great stay!

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend on the island staying at this home. Communication was excellent. We were grateful to stay here because of the view first and foremost ( the 50 steps up the hill is no joke but it's worth it) and the general cleanliness and coziness of the home.

Wonderful stay!

The house was better than pictured -amazing views from both levels. Seeing the harbor from the living room all day was wonderful, and long evenings were spent on the deck. We loved our stay and would recommend this home. Communication with owner was wonderful as well.

Fun stay in Catalina

The house was clean and comfortable, my family of five had plenty of room to relax and unwind after our days of activities in the island. The view from the property is amazing and made our stay even better, I would recommend this rental, the owner communicated well and we felt safe and comfortable in our stay.

Memorial Day Getaway

Great place and great view. Would have given five stars for the cleanliness but the couch had spilled food stains and jigsaw puzzle pieces coming out of the cushions. I found the puzzle box and put the pieces away. I would have given five stars for location and neighborhood too if it was not for the house in front of the property. House in front of the property was dirty and you could smell dog urine and feces when you are out on the balcony. Not the property owners fault. I would definitely stay here again.

Taste of the real Avalon

Fantastic week in Avalon! Loved "living in the neighborhood." Neighbors were very friendly and welcoming from the very beginning - not just after they realized we were quiet and respectful guests. Loved the outdoor living spaces with incredible views. Jetted tub in bay window looking at the ocean didn't hurt either. =) No problems whatsoever and owner responded immediately to all my questions. Certainly hope to return to Catalina Island someday and would definitely rent this property again. Thank you!

Great Vacation Spot on Catalina Island

We have been visiting the island for more than 15 years. This recently remodeled apartment has all the amenities you could want. It is well maintained and clean. The views of Avalon are worth the many steps to climb up to the property. (If you have luggage, I'd advise taking a taxi from the ferry to the location, as it is quite a hike up the hill from the Main Street. Taxis are plentiful and very reliable)
