"Property was fantastic! Very well stocked kitchen, nice size and great value for the price. Fantastic location! Super easy to walk to some restaurants and bars. Super close to Beech Mountain! We had a fantastic time!We were there over 4th of July and it was so easy to walk to the adjoining park for fireworks. We downhill mountain biked at beech mountain and it was super convenient to get there."

"Location to Grandfather Mountain was great. A/C was great. Kitchen does not have some basic utensils and is not fully supplied (as advertised) - fortunately there is a Food Lion nearby where we bought what should have been supplied. Sofa and chairs did not feel clean and we put a sheet over the sofa. Beds and bed linens were good and clean. But, great place to have a family get-together to attend the nearby Highland Games at Grandfather Mountain."

"This is an older hotel and, as such, so were the amenities. That being said, our room was wonderful! Everything worked without any problems. Good water pressure, hot water, and everything we needed for our brief stay. Despite the older hotel, it was very clean and well kept. Amazing place to stay when passing through or as a base camp for hiking the nearby trails"

"We had a great time. We are used to air conditioning, so we were grateful for cool temperatures and the provided fans in each room. There were a couple issues, but they were addressed pretty quickly. The beds were comfortable. We love Sugar Top and have stayed in this condo before. Mike is a great host."
