A lovely stay

We had a very enjoyable week. The property is well furnished and comfortable - a couple of points to note: there isn't a washing machine in the apartment and there are no independent heating controls (assume the heating is controlled from the main house?). Neither of these things affected our stay. The gardens are beautiful and a real bonus. The property provides a great base for getting to Sidmouth, Seaton and Lyme Regis and there is a great pub 'The Tucker's Arms' within a short drive. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at Gardener's Rest as a convenient base while visiting an elderly relative in sheltered accommodation nearby, and loved it there. It's spacious and comfortable, and set in beautiful gardens which we explored, it's very peaceful and has no street-lights nearby, there's a good tea-room in the gardens and an excellent pub a short drive (or walk) away, and there are good opportunities to explore the countryside along pleasant lanes and footpaths. A wonderful apartment In a wonderful location. The gardens are stunning and the apartment a good size, well used space and comfortable. Only two points I would have changed and that was to have a change of towels midweek and a trim of the bushes to where we parked our car, small little niggles in an otherwise perfect stay. My great stay

Fantastic surroundings, and a first class accomodation...great views, and beautiful gardens...easy access to surrounding towns and villages. A real home from home feel, and a totally friendly owner. What more could you want for a great holiday getaway !!!
