「Our crew enjoyed a delightful time in the Kyoto farmhouse. The hosts were most accommodating, Hideo-San is a man of many talents, and his wife is compassionate and very kind. The house itself had the necessary items for cooking and living comfortably. There is a very sweet café, which features kitties and delicious food just a few footsteps away. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again, we will certainly reach out and reconnect with these sweet landlords. 」

「Best part if Japan trip. I found best way to reach hideo is through whats app. He speaks very good english. It is off beaten path. About 1hr buss ride from kyoto station.it is a beautiful scenic route.There is a buss that will take you directly there from kyoto station. Just ask information office if you feel lost. 「恒例行事で牡丹鍋をいただき、こちらのお宿に宿泊させていただきました。貸切宿だったので気兼ねする事なくゆっくり過ごせました。また清潔に保たれており気持ちがよかったです。ウェルカムスイーツやコーヒー、ゲーム等も置いてくださり細やかなお心遣いをを感じる事ができました。周辺の自然環境もよく日頃の時間に追われた日々から解放され癒されました。家族皆また泊まりに来たいねと話ています。」

"I do not recommend to stay in this hotel if... 1). you cannot speak basic Japanese. The staff cannot speak basic English and they were not even trying to use any translator device to communicate with foreign guests. I had to use limited Japanese to communicate with the staff. 2). you cannot tolerate heat nor noise. I checked in 2 days ago. This is already April which is spring season, but the hotel still had not offered cool function of air conditioning. How stubborn the hotel management is. So I was forced to open the window and use the electric fan (when the staff handed me the fan, they did not even wipe off the dust, so it was very dirty.) By the way, as I had to open the window at night, I was annoyed by the noise of the terrible local motorbike gangs. Yet the location of this hotel is superb ~ opposite to the JR station and also a little shopping mall."

"Both breakfast and dinner options are available, the serving time is very flexible, the food is nice and the price is reasonable. More importantly, the staff are helpful, polite and professional, including both front desk and restaurant colleagues. This hotel deserves at least 4.5/5. Looking forward to staying at this hotel soon. "
