"This place is very secluded it's far away from a lot of places food wise so be prepared to drive to a place for food for restaurants to eat out. It does have a place to eat there but when we went they're closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. The room was perfect, very clean. there is AC for those of you like me that like to be comfortable while sleeping in the summer. The view is beautiful while sitting in one of their chairs or taking a kayak out. Just completely relaxing. There is limited cell service out here but that's okay with me because I needed a break from the city and anybody contacting me. However ,they do offer free internet. The only thing that I wish they offered was one of those TVs that you can select Netflix or Hulu because I'm not really a cable person and I would have rather logged into my services but that's just me. Overall we had a very nice time."

"Very quaint cabin in an excellent location on the lake. We experienced several issues while at the cabin and our host Sarah was quick to respond and address the issues. We look forward to returning next year. If you are looking for a rustic cabin in the woods on a lake away from the craziness going on in this world, then this is the place for you. Sarah the host is wonderful and quick to meet your needs."

"I love the property. The rooms were absolutely immaculate. The staff was very professional and helpful. The pool could use a little more attention, but I enjoyed the private beach. The most disappointing part was trying to take a shower and not have hot water. I would recommend staying here. I really was impressed. Everything was really perfect except for the water and the people that have dogs. They should pick up their dogs crap off the ground is great that your place is Pet friendly but people should be more responsible and pick up their dogs waste. Otherwise I would like to come visit again."

"Arrived at sunset (7:30-ish) on a Monday evening after making a last minute reservation en route to Maine from Boston. Only a few cars in the parking lot…I assumed relatively light evening. There’s a beautiful patio overlooking the lake, and a little covered pavilion with chairs and tables to the left, visible from the parking lot. Prior to checking in, I went out to the pavilion, took a seat, and was blown away by the show. However, the hotel is not staffed after hours, at least not in August. And after-hours starts at 8pm. So the outgoing manager came out to the pavilion and inquired about whether I was her last patron for the night before she departed, as she was expecting one more. We went inside, she upgraded me to an outstanding room for the same price overlooking the lake…probably one of their best rooms, even AFTER I spilled my soda all over her desk, and she didn’t skip a beat. Beautiful place. Couple apparently bought it a few years ago and is doing a real nice job. Facilities are very nice for an older hotel. They know what they are doing, and the facelift they gave the main structure and from grounds is impressive. Less than $200 for a million dollar view."

"Alex's place looks excellent in the listing, but it still blew our expectations out of the water, it's just larger in person. The spacious living room with four enormous glass windows made for a fantastic hang-out spot with beautiful views of the lake all times of day. The highlight is the sandy beach, which is soft under your feet and stays shallow for 100' so our group could play frisbee and throw balls in the water. Close proximity to Braun Bay Sandbar was a selling point but we ended up enjoying the sand at home more and spending most time there. The many AC units and hot tub were fantastic as well."
