Typical Tuscan Countryside Cottage near Florence

My cottage is hidden in Tuscan countryside among olive groves, vineyards and woodland. However, downtown Florence is only 16km away (20 mins drive)!The house can host max 6 people and one infant (one queen bed, two single beds, one double sofa bed).
While away, spend your time by relaxing in the garden, which is equipped with a barbecue to cook outdoors and an outdoor shower to cool down while sunbathing. Florence itself is like an open air museum, reserve at least two full days to visit the least you must see! Discover the beauty of surrounding countryside with a hike and unwind with a view of picture-perfect vineyards! There are wine tasting opportunities walking distance from here so you can taste as much wine as you wish, no need to drive back! One can also go for day trips to many beautiful medieval towns scattered on the hills of Tuscany from here. Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Greve in Chianti, Panzano in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti, all of them around an hour \ hour and a half drive from the cottage. Yes, we border with the world famous Chianti wine region! Amazing landscape all around!
Cooking for you at the property is possible with an extra charge and agreed upon in advance. Otherwise, I can recommend excellent restaurants; you must know where to go if you want an authentic culinary experience;)
The property itself, has a spacious living room with a couch sleeping two if necessary. The kitchen is very big and has everything you might need to cook your meals. Two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom can comfortably accommodate 4 people. There is also a cot and a chair for an infant available. Table tennis, a barbecue, a garden with garden furniture to eat out if you wish to or read or sunbath or play. The house stretches on 3 levels, there are stairs.
I will provide you with a mobile internet device so you can take internet with you on your excursions!
A deli store, where you can have a breakfast, lunch or do the basic grocery shopping is only 5mins drive away from here.

Wonderful farmhouse cottage situated in between vineyards. The accommodation location is very convenient if you have plans to explore the countryside of Tuscany and visit the ancient towns. “Wonderful Stay with an Incredibly Helpful Host”We spent a week here and felt right at home. The host was fantastic—so helpful with pre-planning and every restaurant recommendation was spot on. The home itself is spacious, comfortable, and the kitchen is large and well-equipped. Our only small suggestion would be to replace the cooking pans, as the Teflon coating is worn. Otherwise, everything was perfect and we’d happily return!

The property is even better in person. The renovated farmhouse is spacious and modern inside with excellent air conditioning but plenty of windows to just let the warm breeze through as well. Not far from florence, we were situated well to make day trips to Volterra, Siena, San Giminano and many other beautiful nearby areas. Magdelena gave us excellent recommendations for places to visit, restaurants and scenic drives. My children loved being a little off the beaten path to relax and looked forward to seeing Gustavino (the dog) each day.The kitchen is well equipped if you like to cook, and the rooms are large with beautiful bathrooms. We would definitely return if we are back in Tuscany.

Everything was wonderful, my daughter didn’t want to leave. I wished we could have stayed an extra couple of days there. It was so peaceful and the house so spacious. We hope to come back someday! Maybe for my daughter’s birthday, as she requested.

Quiet, clean cottage with everything we needed and beautiful views.

Had a great stay with another couple staying upstairs and my wife and and in the downstairs. Host was amazing and her dog, Gustavino, checked in on us each morning! I wish there had been a vineyard with tasting room within walking distance but there were many within 15 minutes by car. Host set us up with restaurant options and they were all excellent.

Lovely location easy drive to Florence and Chianti and Val d’Orchia

Absolutely charming owner and property. Highly recommend for couples/families/ groups. magdalens went out of her way to welcome us and made us feel right at home. The location is ideal for a visit to wine country or Florence. With an Ultrathon planned nearby for March 2926, we will book as soon as the date is set ( our daughter runs the 100 and 50 K races). One note- stairs to every bedroom/ bathroom for those of us with some limitations. We will definitely be back soon !!

Attractive, comfortable, convenient.

We prefer to stay in isolated houses and this was the best so far: we plan to stay here again. At the end of a rough mile-long farm track (no problem for normal cars) the house is built on a slope, so that all rooms have natural light. The furniture and decoration is attractive, there is more than ample storage in all the rooms plus a utility room downstairs. All rooms are generously-sized and the pictures are accurate. The wifi was fine even for streaming but dropped periodically on some days (the weather?). But it was still better than other rural houses we have stayed in. The owners live next door, and are helpful but never intrusive. Time to the centre of Florence was about 60-70 minutes (driving, parking and walking). Beccaria car park always had space.

Amazing house like a dream.

Amassing cottage exactly as describe, super clean plenty of space for a family. Great location right in the heart of Tuscany with incredible views and it was super peaceful. Perfect home in Tuscany

This was the perfect home for our family while we visited Tuscany and Florence. The property and surrounding land are gorgeous, and it’s just 20 minutes from Florence. Outstanding property

This is the perfect place to land if you want to explore what Tuscany has to offer. View is amazing and Magdalena has created a space that is relaxing inside and outside. There is a great local cafe/deli/pizzeria not far from the cottage that was our go-to in the mornings. Such a lovely rental.

Our stay at this cottage was wonderful. It had everything we needed to make our visit comfortable. It was nice that it was in the countryside but still so close to several quaint villages and just 15-20 minutes drive from Florence. The owners were very accommodating as well. Wonderful Tuscan cottage

Lovely Tuscan cottage on the owner’s large property. Very peaceful, private and quiet. Excellent location to serve as a base while exploring the rest of Tuscany, or to relax in the beautiful countryside. Cottage is very clean and has everything you need, including air conditioning. wonderful stay

The farm house is very charming and located on beautiful property about 20 minutes from Florence attractions. The hostess was very responsive and helpful. The interior is 5 star in a 200 year old structure. part of an old wine estate and there is a 5 star winery/restaurant across the highway, 5 minutes away. If you like quiet in wine country, high end furnishings, and long walks, this is for you.

Relaxing Stay

The cottage and surrounding countryside are even more beautiful than the photos, Magdalena is a wonderful host with so much great advice on things to do in the surrounding area. Despite only being 30 minutes from Florence, this property really gives you a taste of the Tuscan countryside. We loved our stay!
