“My friends and I were planning a getaway to reconnect and heal together. We have been friends for 30 years and had each suffered our own personal nightmares recently. It was going to be the first time we would all be in the same room in 8 years. We stumbled upon this beautiful house on VRBO and decided to go for it. Stacey responded promptly to our request to stay as well as to every question. The house was clean, comfortable and elegant. There was very little that we needed to leave the house……

“We (2 adult couples) loved our stay at this home. The location was very private and quiet. The house looks great in the ad but we were pleasantly surprised that it was even better in person. Nice and bright! Decor was modern yet comfortable. The beds were cozy too! Lots and lots of games to enjoy. Lots of room to spread out for quiet time but also great spaces to enjoy each other's company. We took advantage of the fire pit with a nice fire. Loved the Adirondack chairs! Amazingly quick response……

“The cabin was nicely located on the river, but was a little loud at times from truck noise on the road. Interior was clean and comfortable. The code wasn't updated at check-in, and it took us about 5-10 minutes of standing outside at night to get it resolved. Also, the guest house lights randomly went on during our second evening and shone bright lights into the cabin. Manager did not respond until the next morning.”

“The house was perfect for our weekend with family. There was so much natural light and the fireplace, with firewood provided, was really nice. We enjoyed Shenandoah Caverns, a hike around Laura Lake, and the Rt. 11 Chip Factory.”

“It's out there but this made things quiet except for the cat that kept coming to the porch making us think someone was out there. Once we got our bearings and found our way out and down to the lodge we were fine. Very relaxing as we were in town for a relative going to the local hospital so it was helpful to retreat to the woods to take a breath. Thanks for letting us use your cute house!”

“We came down to celebrate my moms birthday. The property was well cleaned, organized, and had everything we had expected. We loved the fire pit, ping pong table, as well as the very big family room and kitchen where we all spent time together. Would recommend!”

“A few friends and I stayed for the days leading up to new years. We had a blast at the cabin, using the fireplace, playing games, and cooking up a storm! It was also such a luxury to be so close to Bryce mountain resort and spend a day exploring the slopes! Would recommend.”

“This cabin was absolutely beautiful in a very secluded area of West Virginia. The only thing around for miles was the wildlife. The owners thought of everything when building and furnishing this cabin. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get away from hustle and bustle of life. This is truly Gods country.”

“We stayed at this cabin to visit Luray and the local caverns. It is conveniently located with a short drive distance to most cavern systems and restaurants in the area, yet still far away enough to feel like you’re in the countryside. There are other houses and cabins on the same street, but the entire area was extremely quiet with zero traffic other than local residents. Although we didn’t go down to the river, it was wonderful to hear it in the background when we were outside. The swing out……

“our whole family spent the night here after we went for a train ride. The place was clean and very spacious. We did need an air mattress in the common area to sleep the total number of guest we had. Great place to get away for a night.”
