“I booked this unit because of the reviews but let me go ahead and break it down. The location is definitely not the best. Although the house was clean there were some things that could not be avoided or looked over. Number one when you walk in the house it smells very much like old wet wood, there is no couch just a two seater chair so if you plan on relaxing in the living room to watch a movie that’s not happening. The master bedroom‘s bed the legs underneath the bed were broken and bent I sunk……

“We loved stopping at this place on our travels! The kids had so much fun in the pool and on the play set. There are a few small, harmless geckos that come out at night outdoors and the kids were fascinated by them! We slept well, everything was very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend”

“Had no issues with the property or the host. Place was as advertised. Would stay there again next time I go to Bakersfield.”

“It is very cozy space with a homey atmosphere. Everything is done with love. Well stocked apartment conveniently located in a nice neighborhood. There are a lot of food options in the walking distance. ”

“I’ll be back soon !”

“No pets”

“We were looking for a place to stay for a month in Bakersfield. We wanted something family friendly that we could bring our grandkids to and not worry about damaging anything. This little house was perfect. It was comfortable without being trashed and have a very family feel all the way to the bath toys for kids and great backyard. It really felt like a home.We have stayed at house and condos through VRBO quite a few times in several states and this was by far the best experience.”

“We had a great time. We would definitely rent this place out again. I don't know where we had more fun in the swimming pool or playing pool in the garage. They had plenty of towels so that was great for the pool.”

“This place was a perfect stay while in town. The host Amaka was very helpful. Very nice and clean place. Will definitely book again when in Bakersfield.”

“House was extremely clean and host was very communicative.”

“Good property”

“Excelente todo muy limpio y ordenado”

“We had such a great experience staying at this home. The house was spotless, well-maintained, and incredibly spacious. The decor was charming, and the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, right down to the coffee and creamer, which was such a thoughtful touch. The yard was absolutely perfect for our dog it was safe, secure and well-suited for her to enjoy without any worry. We're already looking forward to booking this home again the……

“The guest house is very clean, has all the amenities listed, it is decorated well and in a good location. Communication was great. I look forward to staying again in the future.”

“The house was clean, comfortable, secure and located in a convenientplace for our travel purposes. The kitchen was stocked with basic cooking supplies & utensils. Carla, the host, was quick to respond and accommodating. The pool and patio was tidy and refreshing when the weather got warm.”

“Everything went really good my only recommendation is hire a different cleaner. There were many places in the house that are missed. But that has no bearing on the property or the owner. And if the owner is curious of what areas I am referring to I am available to elaborate.”

“The house was what you had seen website, nice! Very clean and the host was easy to communicate with. If we had any questions, he was quick to respond. Family friendly. Perfect location, nice neighborhood! We would definitely stay again.”
