“It was the perfect place for us staying in Dingle for 28 days! Douglas was very attentive to ALL my concerns or questions! Just a suggestion for guests unfamiliar with the oven - like us - have information somewhere on how to use the oven? Thank goodness for the internet and we figured it out!”

“House was clean and kitchen reasonably well equipped but cold when we arrived as heating was off. Timer on immersion was not working, shower room on ground floor looks tired and the double glazing on the front windows was blown (condensation between the glass). Main issue for us was the frosted glass at the back of the lounge which means that you can't see out of those windows at all.”

“A cute, quiet and comfortable cottage, I would move there full time if I could! With 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a full kitchen (with a dishwasher!) and a washer/dryer, it had everything we needed and was a convenient walk to the town center with wonderful shops, pubs and attractions. There were just two of us, but it would have comfortably accommodated 6.”

“Smooth booking, cot and highchair provided as requested. Great kitchen and dining space with plenty of lovely kitchenware. Heating and hot water easy and preset. Beach near the property was lovely (need to go over slippy rocky pathway to access but kids and adults could do so). Views from house were mountains, green fields and farm animals, very peaceful. No one else on beach except the lovely dog who guided us. About 10 min drive to Dingle which has great bars ice cream shops, restaurants,……

“We loved the cozy space and all of the artistic touches. The communication with Rosie the house manager was excellent. It is an ideal location if you’re looking for some quietude but, easy access to Dingle center. We enjoyed walking the beach which was a 5 minute walk from the house. Highly recommend Sleepy Shell!”

“House was very spacious for our family of 11 which included 2 babies. Delighted that all rooms had en-suites with plenty of towels and all other necessary bathroom accessories. The pods for washing machine were great as we had to do a washing for baby. A lovely bowl of fruit and food in fridge were very welcome. The family were very helpful and friendly and we had a very special wedding weekend in dingle.”

It was scrupulously clean and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is located very conveniently close to shops, pubs, restaurants and the center of town. Very quiet and relaxing—delightful breakfast. ”
