“To us, the best thing about this stay is the location. So close to all the coast attractions with many pleasant walks right out the door. This home met our needs and enjoyed having a garden to ourselves since the weather was so nice during our stay. Excellent communications by Caroline--proactive and responsive, but respected our privacy, too.”

“the room was comfortable but the whole property was quite clean though quite shabby and the bathroom was damp and there wasn't enough toilet roll and no spares available. the bed was comfortable and bedding clean and fresh. If you think that you are getting the place to yourself as the advert suggests then do not be fooled as you are not. That being said it was pretty quiet other than take away being delivered at 11pm and being in the room next to the front door. The location was really good……

“Wonderful nights stay in a beautiful Victorian Coach House. Fresh fruit, eggs, milk, cereal, croissants and juice were provided. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“Communication upon and during arrival was intermittent and took longer than anticipated. Many aspects of the apartment were less than ideal. There was a fresh spot of blood on the bed on the third floor, light bulbs were missing and continued to burn out, water pressure and hot water was very poor. There were very limited towels especially in the kitchen. And the host messaged me last minute that a maintenance man was going to stop by. That’s not ok with a group of girls and all of our valuables……

“Beautiful surroundings on the seafront. Not a huge issue but on vrbo it seems like you are renting the whole cottage instead of one side. The neighbor initially didn’t act like he knew where our place was. It could use a new couch and the chairs in the glass house also sink in. We loved sitting in the glass house in the evenings! The grounds could use a little cleaning but overall a wonderful place❤️. I would advise people they must have a car and cannot rely on taxis due to the location ❤️”

“No dryer Rusty pots and pans No hair dryer Oven so dirty you could not use it smoked so bad. Poor heat had to wear winter coats first evening. Second evening the heat quit. Host had to come and reset the boiler. Host did not respond to request for confirmation the day before reservation. Day of reservation we drive to Belfast not knowing if we had accommodations. Then we were chastised for not calling 15 minutes before arrival. Even though we tried constantly for two days to contact her. NOT a……

“Our family have just returned from a stay at this wonderful house in Portballintrae, the house was beautiful and was equipped with absolutely everything anyone could possibly need. My son's (11 + 15) enjoyed playing all the board games and I managed to read a book, all from the bookcase in the utility area. We stayed to travel to watch our older son in the Super Cup football tournament so the house was perfect location for us to travel to all his games. We also went to some of the beautiful……
